I just want to thank Nigel and Joe for excellent customer service and their help. I placed an order for the Curry Compendium and a selection of spices. I received an email stating that my order had been dispatched. After a week I had to phone Nigel as my order had not arrived. It would appear that Royal Mail had lost it (this is not the first order - not from this company, that Royal Mail have lost). Nigel said he would sort it out and the next day I received my order (delivered by Hermes). I am very pleased with my order and can’t wait to get cooking. I would definitely recommend this company and will be directing friends and family to it. Thank you Nigel and Joe

I had written the wrong post code! Spicy Joes was brilliant as the parcel was returned to them so they managed to call me and ask me for my right post code and re sent out to me at no extra cost! Brilliant packaging and great herbs. Would definitely recommend.

The best customer service I have received from any online vendor. I had ordered a book Misty Ricardo's Curry Compendiun. Just two days later I was amused to receive an email requesting a comment on the service I'd received. As I hadn't received a dispatch notification I pinged back an email stating this. Incredibly, just 2 hours later I received a personal phone call from Nigel the business owner...informing me that my order would be with me the next day and indeed it was. My thanks and appreciation to all at Spicy Joe's...May they keep up the excellent service.

I ordered the Misty Ricardos new curry compendium through Spicy Joes with the recommendation from the author himself! The spices are amazing, and the owner, Nigel, could not have been more helpful. We both realised we were local to one another and he hand delivered my order the very next day. Highly recommend, and will definitely be using them again!

Received the Misty Ricardo Essential Spice Kit this morning, and was very impressed by the quality and quantity of the spices. There was a wonderfull aroma of fresh spices when I opened the package! Just put my order in for the new Curry Compendium Book, and can't wait to start cooking.

I ordered the spice pack to go with the Misty Recardo recipe book. Spices are amazing and very very good for the money, and enough to make several of the base sauce and recipes. Ordered on the 23rd May, received email saying despatched on the 24th. I still have not received anything, should have been next day DPD. No tracking number provided and seller has ignored my email message that I sent Very poor service, please either send the spices or refund me. Thanks

I really can’t recommend this company highly enough, apart from their spices being of the best quality their customer service and hands on approach is second to none. It’s such a breath of fresh air to actually speak to someone straight away if you have any queries at all. My orders have always arrived well packaged and extremely quickly. Everything I’ve bought is far superior to anything I’ve bought from a shop. Well done to all the team, you’ve really got it right !!!

Previously left the below review on google but the owner is playing dumb when he knows fully well what order I am referring to and when I ordered. I can provide screen shots. Ordered products early morning on a Tuesday for next day dpd delivery as advertised on their site. They only arranged the courier on Wednesday afternoon and the products still haven't been dropped to dpd on Thursday when I checked the tracking. I emailed to request to cancel, they didn't oblige. Friday and still no delivery, I request to cancel again, they ignored me and finally dropped the parcel to dpd at 4.30 on Friday. Poor service.. Shame as I thought I'd found my new supplier. I'll feedback to misty who recommended you too. Wouldn't have left this feedback but you ignored me so... _ _ _ _ _ Update The seller is now posting my personal details publicly online in their reply to this review (GDPR?) and lying about when I opened a PayPal claim. I opened the PayPal claim last Friday just before you dispatched as you were ignoring my emails. Smoke and mirrors! All I expected from you was the free next-day DPD delivery as promised on your site. Stop blaming them when you know it was your slow dispatch. In the future don't promise to get back to a customer then ignore their emails .

I ordered both Misty books that were a great bargain including free P&P. Nigel took the courtesy to call me, we had a great chat, he gave me some super hints and tips Far cheaper than Amazon and the books arrived the very next day. Im delighted.
