However, the delivery driver refused to help bringing doors into the house. To get the doors inside I had to negotiate three steps up to the front door and then an immediate right turn into the house. This would have been so much easier with a little help.

United Kingdom | 21 August 2024I am appalled with the conduct of the delivery driver and the members of staff i’ve been in contact with at JB Kind. I am happy with the product but little can be said for the customer service that they provide. Definitely not “excellence” as stated on their website. It’s a shame as the company has nice products but their customer service and delivery clearly lets them down as this is not the only complaint of the same nature that can be found on this site. I had arranged for my teenage brother who was on school holiday to take delivery of an extremely heavy fire door while I was at work. The delivery driver made him get the door out of the van himself! The driver stated that he could not touch the door as it was kerb side delivery. I received multiple emails and text messages directly from JB kind stating delivering was to the property entrance not kerb side. My brother did his best to get the extremely heavy door out of the van without any assistance, he was then made to cross a road on a bend without being able to see when was safe to cross and with no assistance despite having asked the driver for help. When making a complaint to JBKind I was called a liar by multiple members of staff. I was hung up on 3 occasions by Jenny and called a liar. I was also called a liar by another member of staff in accounts who refused to give his name at the end of the call. Despite having agreed that the driver broke standard practice by allowing my brother to remove the item from the van and delivering it himself to the property entrance JBKind are continuing to deny any compensation or even an apology.
