We chose West Yorkshire Windows over Yorkshire Windows for our new door, due to preferring the design despite it being more costly. On initial fitting we were dismayed to realise that despite the door being correct, the glass, the lock and the handle were not what we ordered. After waiting a number of weeks the company fitted a replacement door with the correct glass, locks and handle which we were pleased with until we stepped outside to find that whilst the colour was correct, the door design was wrong! Purely for the sake of convenience we accepted this new door as it was close enough in design to what we had ordered. Within a month, on the first warm day of the year, I noticed that the door was no longer sitting flush in the frame. An engineer was sent out and eventually the company admitted that the door was warping in the sun and preventing us from locking / unlocking the door. A further replacement was ordered, and despite numerous promises no resolution has been provided, with only empty promises of a replacement to come and no date provided! I would urge anyone purchasing from this company to reconsider.

I recently purchased new double glazed windows from West Yorkshire Windows and unfortunately, my experience with the company has been substandard. I chose WYW are a reputable company, who could offer a superior service and quality to others and was quoted a premium based on that. I encountered numerous issues with the quality of the windows, which resulted in the company having to make multiple visits to rectify them. This not only caused me a lot of inconvenience but also resulted in me having to take several days off work. To make matters worse, the whole process has taken over 2 months, when it was originally supposed to take only 2 days. I find this level of delay and disruption to be unacceptable. They blame the manufacturers at any given opportunity, as if it is somehow not their fault that my experience has been unsatisfactory. Overall, I am disappointed with the quality of the windows and the level of service I received from West Yorkshire Windows. My experience has been far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend this company to others looking to purchase double glazed windows.

had a composite door fitted about 7 years ago noticed the colour fading and patchy called wyw spoke to dawn very helpful said the service guy would come to inspect it had new door fitted about 3 weeks later

Our windows were fitted by Jase and Rob, they both got straight to work without taking a break. We are pleased with the workmanship and their friendly attitude. We won’t hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends.

First problem was the rep giving us a price for 8 windows and 1 door but the paperwork received later showed 7 windows and 1 door and the price had to be recalculated by WYW (obviously upwards). The other problem was that WYW moved the date of the scaffolders coming to the property and failed to inform us when the date was delayed. The products (so far) and fitters are excellent , shame about the Head Office communications!

On the 20th March I had 4windows and a bay window installed by west riding windows of Wakefield , I had Tony &Jamie , they did a wonderful job , and they cleaned up after them self’s , I would recommend them to anybody

West Yorkshire Windows have replaced all my windows and doors and have now completed new roof and windows on my conservatory, an excellent company and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend, very knowledgeable and professional staff and kept me updated of every aspect of the job

Was visited by a representative and a surveyor on the agreed dates, both very efficient and straightforward. The fitters did a good job and got everything done in a day with minimal mess. One damaged component was held back and fitted the next day.
