United Kingdom | 18 February 2025On 12/2 I called Lebara customer service for help. The porting of my old mobile number on 4/2 had failed. This was not my first call concerning this but it was the only one with a satisfactory outcome. I spoke with Kunal Punjani who came up with the best solution to that point, namely to prioritise sending me a new sim card with my old mobile number already on it. HOW I wish I had managed to speak to him the week before. Card received and can now use my new mobile. Extremely grateful. Much appreciated. Thank you so much Kunal. Great job.

United Kingdom | 18 February 2025Having been with my old mobile network for many years, I was very nervous at moving to Lebara. However, as our daughter has been with them for around 18 months and speaks very highly of them both in network cover and customer services, and with price rises from my old supplier, I decided to bite the bullet! I am pleased to say that all has gone really well. The SIM card arrived the next day after ordering. With a bit of help from my daughter we applied on line. I was still very nervous that my existing number which I was migrating, would be lost. It's easy to call Lebara Customer Services and they seem to care and know their stuff. My old supplier wasn't the best in regards to customer services so, Lebara has so far exceeded my expectations. Jennifer was really helpful and asked me to go through a process to get me up and running on the day of migration, holding on whilst I did so. Unfortunately we then got cut off, but Jennifer rang me back. Cannot speak highly enough of her and the service received. Huge Relief. Thank you Lebara

United Kingdom | 18 February 2025Switched from O2 to Lebara because the signal was terrible and fair enough Lebara has been much better on this front. However I have had lots of issues requesting a new sim (as the first one didn’t work) as it never seems to get done on their end. I have also recently had my phone stolen and have spoken to Lebara 5 times about this - I was quoted different timescales of between within 24 hours and up to 72 hours. It has now been over 4 days and despite being told numerous times it will be done, nothing ever happens. It has meant I can’t start my insurance claim so have been without a phone for ages and this looks like continuing. So if you want cheap and cheerful go for it but when it comes down to any issues Lebara is absolutely useless. Customer service agents all tell you different things.

United Kingdom | 18 February 2025They are better than Smarty around here (my last lot) but you 5g will be capped at 180 Mpbs maxand the upload for me is Dire at 10Mpbs . The 5g is also tacked onto 4G bands I have to run my 5g on band 20 only , there is no band N78 (true 5G) probably because this s a budget out fit. And I have my suspicions that they slow down downloads speeds on 5g if you use certain sites for file transfer . If you want true 5G Vodafone might be the way to do it . and if you have just joined lebara a 5g signal most likely will not be available until you go online to ask a Agent to enable it . BUt there again smarty and EE are terrible here (no 5g indoors) so thats at least something in Lebaras cap thats better
