United Kingdom | 12 February 2025Wanted to cancel two sim-only accounts I bought for visiting relatives but alas they took the sims home with them so could not receive a code to log in to Lebara's site. Phoned customer service and after a short wait was connected to Sanju. He understood the situation perfectly and, after a cople of security questions, quickly cancelled the accounts and told me I will no longer be charged. Assuming this happens, I'm happy and impressed with the effciency of Lebara's customer service. Thanks.

United Kingdom | 11 February 2025Previous review somehow went down under my wife's name so can't add on to it. Suffice to say that after taking nearly 2 weeks to port my number over, while I then had no phone or data so effectively without the use of a phone, it was my own suggestion that I may have a dodgy sim that was followed up. One was sent by Overnight special delivery - but it wasn't!! It eventually turned up after nine days! Before that I eventually had instructions to go and buy a sim from a local shop and the guy on the chat sorted the transfer onto the new sim in a couple of mins & then I had a functioning phone. When checking the settings - which were different from the instructions I was told they were fine - BUT - they weren't and didn't work in Europe. I therefore had to change them to try others I had been given and eventually got them to work . Overall I have had appalling service, been absolutely lied to, promises and commitments made were never fulfilled, and then there is now the ongoing issue of the complaint regarding all this. Despite the complaint (and yes I have a reference number) being raised there was no communication with me despite having alternative means of contacting me. To add insult to injury I did get a message to say they had tried to phone me!!!! - obviously didn't read anything in advance to see the complaint was about not having any phone service! Eventually after nearly three weeks I was called and I was very explicit that I was less than happy. There was NO resolution on that call and the guy promised to call me back after speaking with his manager. That was over three weeks ago. So today I contacted Lebara again and was informed the complaint had been resolved!!!! It hasn't and I am just getting more infuriated by the minute. The good news is I now have a working phone. The bad news is customer service is the worst I have ever encountered and the culture seems to be ignore, defer, not follow up & yes I will specifically say Lie - I have transcript evidence of this! Think very carefully before switching - yes they are cheap & I know expectations cannot be same as a mainline supplier, but if you have any issues then all I can say is Good Luck!

United Kingdom | 11 February 2025Have been with Lebara for some time with no problems until I changed my deal, suddenly I can't message a friend, when I rang to ask why I couldn't I was told it was because her number is either a business number or a special one(?), what a load of S**T. Am I supposed to believe that business numbers are no longer included in my monthly allowance? Looking for another provider but reviews all seem to say that if you don't want to pay much each month then you get a crap service.

United Kingdom | 11 February 2025I cancelled my payment plan because my PayPal had received an unwarranted payment warning and I received a new bank card so figured I'd update details for my next top up. This led to an issue because Lebara helped theirselves to the debit money ahead of time despite the debit cancellation which gave me all kinds of hassle with PayPal. My whole account's now been locked. Frankly the entire service they offer is weird, I've had to reset my details for every account log in, they're always asking to verify identity by taking photos of you. I wasn't very comfortable with Lebara as my provider anyway.
