I hired Lyons Bowe to support my home purchase. They have a lovely app that shows your progress, but we could never meet our solicitor face to face as she worked from home. We didn’t appreciate having a different person for each step of the process, as it lead to several errors due to missed information from one person to another. In the end it all worked out, and they did make an effort to make up for errors made, so I would trust them again.

I have to say you were all wonderful from the start to the finish. I was kept updated all the way through selling our house and buying a property in Carbis Bay. I have recommended your company to everyone. We are now living the dream thank you to such a beautiful professional team.

I liked the convenience of using an online solicitor and to see what stage my purchase and sales were at. However, The progress line was not always up to date. I found everything a bit confusing at first but then it started to make sense to me. A different person for each part of the sale/purchase resulted in a loss of continuity.

Pretty poor to communicate. Would be better if there was a policy of maximum 2 week without updating. Lost post. (EDIT: despite your response, I went weeks without hearing an update.)

On the plus side: everyone delightful to deal with, good value, prompt service and I would certainly consider using again for a very straightforward conveyancing transaction. On the minus side: very process driven, and it’s a rigid process which needs to be reviewed so that, for example, clients can have the opportunity to see the draft sale contract before it is negotiated between solicitors. Also, the transaction is handed over from one team to another at different phases, so no continuity, and no individual overseeing throughout. This is unsuitable for transactions which are not standard or which have complications (even minor ones).

Absolutely great and would use again! Helpful and went above and beyond to get our mortgage completed before Christmas. Thank you so much!

Dealt with a sale and lease extension for a flat at the same time. Had a few initial issues with internal departments not talking but once that was sorted I found them great.

Lyons Bowe were very helpful. They always answered phones, and if not, responded to emails. I was going through a separation and needed somewhere to find a flat to buy, quickly, and they did everything they could to help me.

Lyons Bowe have an amazing knowledge of the law, at times they were educating my buyers solicitor. Everything is clear, concise, and prices were in the middle ground compared with other quotes. My only criticism would be that, at times the experience felt a bit depersonalised, and robotic. I would use them again.
