The worst Conveyancing company we've ever used. To many mistakes, no attention to detail, treated with utter ambivalence once they know they have you over a barrel. Presenting us with legal documentation to sign after exchange of contracts, mistake after mistake. No investigation of legal matters arising, no explanation of legal issues. The process they use is a car crash. They rely on lazy email communication that lacks the precision required of a legal firm. When errors, of which there are many, are pointed out they become defensive and upset. It's embarrassing how poor they are, I almost feel sorry for them as they are obviously out of their depth when it comes to legal work and how to conduct themselves with a client that has instructed them. The so called compliance officer will back his own staff every time, even when they are clearly get it wrong. Talk about marking your own homework! The list goes on and on. Suffice to say you will be doing yourself a massive favour NOT instructing Lyons Bowe. Without question, the worst we've ever used.

We lived in Keynsham and decided to use a local based solicitor and definitely made the right decision. We would thoroughly recommend this company. They have experts to handle every stage of the purchase and sale of your property. They kept us well informed at every stage of this difficult process. They inspired us with confidence in their ability to handle every situation that presented itself with true professionalism. A real dream team in Kerryanne, Laura and Jess. I had thought that by paying more than the average conveyancer I would receive better customer service. However, this did not happen. I would not recommend using them at all.

Appalling shocking service!!! All they care about is money. They took my deposit lost my papers and can’t help with our application process!! Can’t speak to a qualified solicitor as they are always unavailable. I was past from one unqualified member of staff to another!! Not even in the same branch! I was past to several members! You could ring and ring and they never picked up! Ended up speaking with an unqualified girl at the Bridgewater branch Jasmin and she had no clue what she was doing! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! UNQUALIFIED! USELESS AND ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY!! NOT A LEGAL FIRM THATS FOR CERTAIN!!!!

With problem after problem dealing with estate agents and surveyors the situation only made worse by very poor quality non responsive solicitor. Lyons Bowe will have you believe that you are buying into a local solicitor where you will be dealing with one person at branch level. This is just not the case and once they have your £500 deposit you will soon learn that in fact you will be past from pillar to post between many different members of staff from as far away as Bristol. I counted at least 14 different members of staff dealing with our house purchase leaving you not knowing if you were coming or going. I found members of staff that you were supposed to be dealing with were un contactable and were either off sick or on holiday. When calling direct numbers I was never able to speak to the different members of staff that was supposed dealing with our purchase. As an experiment I called Lyon’s Bowe 10 different times using the option for new business. This number is answered immediately every time. Using any other option including and especially the option for knowing the extension you require your call is routed to an answer machine where your call is never returned. My feeling is this is not a legal firm you can easily rely on and are certainly not a local firm like the impression they want to give. I would have to say this is a company best avoided

Avoid !!! Conveyancer got completion statements completely wrong blaming mortgage providers for error, then demanded £1000 last minute stating the purchase would not proceed unless I paid immediately !! Terrible service- couldn’t even be bothered to pick up the phone to discuss or apologise, just Defense an threats !! I’m now questioning What else have they got wrong ??…. Not recommended

I was recommended Lyons and Bowe. However, I would not recommend them ever. They are very unprofessional. The first solicitor dealing with my case emailed and advised I would have to read through my paperwork myself and raise any queries with her as she simply didn’t have the time to do this. I have no legal back ground how would I know. I have paid for a service I simply didn’t get. They would not respond to communications either from myself, my agents or third party solicitors. They told numerous lies with regards to the position of my buyers sale ( I know this as I was in communication with my purchaser). When I raised a complaint they were very unprofessional and again would not listen. They did not like my review on a previous site and this was removed. No I do not recommend Lyons and Bowe for any aspect of conveyance. Look elsewhere.

Solicitors who answer the phone, return your calls, explain what they're going to do, then do it efficiently and promptly. I was very grateful I had them steering my sale and purchase during during an incredibly busy period. Thank you. Well worth the money.

We recently sold our house and used Lyons Bowe solicitors. We received excellent service from Sarah & Veronika. The sell of our house wasn’t exactly straight forward but I was confident the entire time that both Sarah and Veronika did all they could to keep things moving along. They always kept us up to date and when I did need to contact them I didn’t need to wait long for a reply. In our opinion Lyons Bowe were fantastic and worth every penny. I have already recommended them to two friends and will continue to recommend.
