And I travel a lot. I will also be sure warn my fellow travelers of using this insurance. What if I needed to make a claim? Would no one respond for weeks? My sports equipment was delayed more than 48 hours, but I was denied compensation despite providing evidence of the delay. This seems like a scam, I advise to stay away from World Nomads

Maldives | 27 February 2025The purchase process was disappointing due to an issue when accessing from a mobile phone, whether Android or Apple. When trying to enter the card’s expiration date, a calendar pop-up appears asking for a specific day. As you know, credit card expiration dates only include the month and year, which causes an error and makes it impossible to complete the purchase. After many attempts, I finally tried from a PC, and it worked. Unfortunately, I wasted a lot of time, and I almost chose another insurance provider. You are probably losing many potential sales due to this issue—I strongly suggest fixing it as soon as possible. Best regards.

United States | 27 February 2025I purchased a policy that specifically covered high altitude trekking but when I received the actual policy, it did not mention anything about that in the coverage. So, I called and questioned it. First, I was told high altitude trekking is not covered even though their website states that all plans cover it. When I told them that's what it said on the website he said "Oh, then it's covered". But the policy does not state that it's covered. He told me to screenshot the website page for coverage. We all know an insurance company is not going to cover things not listed on a policy. So I cancelled the policy.

Desafortunadamente, Aeroméxico me dio información incorrecta, lo que provocó que perdiera mi vuelo de conexión en la Ciudad de México. Como resultado, Aeroméxico pagó una habitación de hotel, pero yo tuve que pagar el depósito obligatorio por mascota. No había lugar para embarcar a los animales esa noche, y el nuevo horario de vuelo era aproximadamente 17 horas más tarde, por lo que no podía dejarlos en sus jaulas durante tanto tiempo. Por lo tanto, no tuve más opción que hacer lo humanitario y pagar el depósito para poder usar la habitación del hotel. Compré el plan Explorer más caro con World Nomads específicamente en caso de un evento de este tipo. Sin embargo, su departamento de reclamaciones se negó a reembolsar el depósito por mascota, que era necesario para obtener la habitación, afirmando que World Nomads solo cubre el costo de la habitación en sí; no cubriría ningún gasto asociado con la reserva, lo cual es completamente absurdo. Me entristece que World Nomads haya resultado ser una empresa poco fiable y de dudosa reputación. El depósito por mascota era parte del pago de la habitación para mí y los animales que transportaba. No era como si estuviera tratando de recuperar los gastos del servicio de habitación o del minibar. NO COMPRE EL SEGURO DE WORLD NOMADS SI VIAJA CON MASCOTAS porque NO cubrirá los gastos asociados con ellas. También desaconsejaría a cualquier amante de los animales que apoye a una empresa tan despiadada; en su lugar, compre un seguro de viaje que admita mascotas. **Para mayor transparencia: escribo esta reseña en todas las páginas de Trustpilot que puedo encontrar porque todos deberían estar advertidos.
