Tenancy renewal periods can be a worrying, fraught time. However, our recent experience proved to be smooth, constructive & successful. This was due largely to the efforts of the Life Residential ‘Renewals Consultant’ Amrita Rathod.

My flat had a major sewage pipe leak that flooded the whole apartment and rendered it unfit for habitation. I have since had to vacate the property but there’s been zero correspondence from LiFe residential, my calls are never received, they would not let me speak with the landlord or let me terminate the lease or reimburse me for the charges I’m incurring for an unoccupied flat!! The inconvenience this has been and continues to be plus the sheer lack of accountabiliy on their end is telling and abhorrent. Please do not rent with them!!

TOTAL SCAMMERS!!! STAY AWAY!!! We “secured” a property with life residential (or at least we thought so) over a month before the actual moving day, referencing went through smoothly and we were just waiting for the contract to be sent to us. We had to ask a few times about the contract as we were kept promised a date but the contract was never sent. The contract was requested several times and every single time we were assured to relax that everything was in order and that the contract was going to be sent at some point. However, a week before the moving day (yes, 7 DAYS before the moving day) the agency called us saying that they council did not give permission for 4 people to live in the flat and that we had to find a different property. As you can imagine this was quite frustrating given that all of us had given notice to our respective properties, booked removal companies and we were going to be homeless in a week time. The agency did not even apologised or took responsibility for their negligence, they just blamed the council for this. We do understand regulations are in place, however this could have been avoided if the agency would have enquired the council a month in advance rather than a week. We are now left to secure an emergency accommodation (which doesn’t come cheap) cancellation charges for our removals and storage charges to store our goods until we can move into a new place. Shame on you life residential and the way you treat your customers!

I will not suggest using them to rent out your property because of their poor service, exorbitant fees, and the fact that tenants move in after the contract is completed. They don't give a damn!. I would strongly advise renting out or selling your property somewhere else!
