I am still waiting for an official quote 2 weeks after Mark Swanson’s appointment on 4th July. No email, no phone call and nothing in the post! When I enquired via their website, I had a follow up call the next day and the lady qualified my requirements giving me a guideline of £7-£14K for a glass room typically 3x3 meters, she also took the time to make sure that I was the only person that would be making the decision and that no one else needed to be present which I confirmed as correct and an evening appointment was made. The first ‘error’ was a couple of days prior to my appointment I had a voicemail from this sales person saying they were looking forward to meeting me and my husband. Did he not read the notes? Second ‘error’ I received a text message from him on the morning of the appointment saying he was free at lunchtime and it would suit him better to have an earlier appointment! I texted back saying I was not not free until the appointed time and would see him then 3rd ‘error’ He arrives 25 minutes early, I had just finished on a zoom meeting and still had work to do, I told him so but he said he could only do this time. 4th ‘error’ He made no effort to measure the area until I asked him to, he demonstrated a complete lack of interest and reluctantly said he could do an estimate for me but it would take him about 15 minutes. I said that was fine. He worked this out using prices from a folder and on a sheet of paper, he had a lap top but found it difficult to even find relevant images of the type of glass I wanted on the side wall. I would have thought that in this day and age the company would have set up a programme to make up estimates and email to the preceptive client on the spot! He gave me an estimate of £36,700 that was with a 20% discount for a 5x3 meter structure WITHOUT any groundwork! That’s almost £2500 per square meter! 5th error. I asked him to get me an official quote one with the glass walls and one without. 3 weeks on I am still waiting!. I can only surmise that the ‘quote’ he gave me was a complete rip off and that he is working solely on commission and thought as a single lady he could get away with it or this company is in fact ludicrously expensive. I am extremely disappointed at the unprofessional way that I as a potential customer was treated. Needless to say I would not recommend their services which is a pity as the product looks great On another note this company only responds to 5 star reviews. A company of any worth, would see the value of responding to those that are less enamoured by their service. To me that speaks volumes.

Disappointing, best part of 12 months for a £10000 awning ordered around March 2021 for completion July/Augsut due to a "shortage of remote controls in Germany" completion was delayed several (6) months. Original design couldn't be implemented, so had to be changed. First surveyor didnt show up no telephone call or excuse given simply didnt arrive. Installers arrived but no electrician, a good few weeks later the electrician arrived no remote control, the awning cannot be operated manually ( not Edens fault their not the designers, only the slick sales team and installers but let’s hope the remote doesn’t break! ) When the electrician arrived I was on holiday and my father in law was there to meet him, I left cash for the final instalment to be paid to the electrician on completion of the job, the job wasn't completed but the company still asked for payment which my father in law handed over. On my insistence It was returned to us the next day.

Over all brilliant, had trouble because of bank holiday so installation took longer. Fitters are great they even swept the grass so no mess left. The only problem I have is the bottom of the ramp is a step of about 2 inches I had hope there would be none.

Good company, excellent product, professionally installed, and we have a great result. So why do they lose a star? Because the delivery timescales turned out to be significantly longer than originally quoted, and we needed to ‘sit on them’ to push things along. Things slowed down and needed chasing once the slick sales department had our order on the books. Less significantly, they also chased me for a payment that I had already made.

Veranda lovely and erected by very competent men. We waited 5 months for it to be delivered. very frustrating. This could have been avoided by letting us know the true expected delivery time at the outset. I also wasn't expecting to have to connect the gutter outlet into our drainage system. Not a problem but I could have made better provision in advance had I known. The veranda is a very good make and looks really nice now erected the lads were organised and neat in their working and cleaned everything away before leaving. The whole operation completed in 6 hours. Thanks to the delivery and erection lads and Neil at the office who finally gave us a firm delivery and erection date.

No good if you're in a hurry. From order to completion was 15 months but this did include them getting planning permission and a broken glass on fitting with a three month lead time for a replacement. However, very pleased with the result and with the fitters.

We called Eden verandas to review a couple of issues with seals. The office were extremely helpful and replied very quickly and arranged for Wayne to call at a time convenient to us. Wayne attended our house today. He was friendly and helpful. He was very open and pragmatic and explained the situation and proposed a solution to fully resolve the problem. He was insightful to the verandah system and proactive to customers. He is a great asset to you and your reputation.

We originally ordered our glassroom in 2020. Due to COVID19 delays we ended up having the fitting in 2021. From the outset I had reservations about the attention to detail and the brief we shared with the sales rep. We had to contact Eden on numerous occasions to verify and doublecheck everything within the brief. After several misunderstandings were cleared up the original fitting of the glassroom was poor. Poor finish, unstable flagstones and leaking boundaries. Customer service in general was weak - I wouldn't say they were actually rude but more indifferent to our ongoing problems. Workmen visited TWICE more post-installation to attempt to fix the water leaks. It never really felt like they were fixing the problem and I said to them on one occasion when they left "Please don't take this the wrong way, but I hope we never see you again" The glassroom continued to leak and so, yet again, we had to contact C Services. Light appeared at the end of the tunnel when Wayne Perry visited our property and after 2 protracted years of frustrating communication, Wayne empathised, understood our dissatisfaction and agreed wholeheartedly that the glassroom was of a poor finish and needed fixing once and for all. This was a relief to us after such a frustrating time with Eden (we more of an inconvenience or chore to them rather than a client who had paid a LOT of money). I specifically requested Wayne be the engineer to finally fix our glassroom as he was the only one we had any faith and confidence in. He was professional, understanding, efficient, very thorough and passionate about getting our build to the finish we wanted. He is truly a credit to Eden Verandas. A really talented tradesman. Steve also joined Wayne this last time around and he, too, was understanding, professional and keen to fix the problem for us. We thank them both Tracy & Richard

Whilst the wait was long, it was well worth it as our property has been enhanced by the addition of an Eden Glass Veranda. The product is of the highest quality, it is robust and looks really good; it is a lovely addition to our house and garden, and provides us with extra covered space. The installation was trouble free and the guys who erected the veranda were excellent. They did the job efficiently and were very knowledgeable. The clean up was excellent, not a piece of paper or off cut was left behind. The whole process from initial consultation to construction was seamless and easy and communication with Eden Verandas was good. We would highly recommend this Company as the product is excellent and well worth the investment.

I would have given 5 stars overall as everything do with the quality of the product and particularly the two people who assembled the glass room on site were exemplary. I wish to single out Simon and Brad who worked together as as team which is not a surprise as they were father and son: I rate them as five stars as they rarely stopped working and a lunch break was something other people did. The room was completed in the declared time of four days. I have a comment about customer service. This department, as the title indicates, is the link between customer and company. We ordered the glass room in July 2021 and construction started on 31 March 2022 a delay of nearly 9 months through no fault of Eden Verandas bearing in mind the virus and other world events. However it is the sole responsibility of customer service to keep the customer informed whereas I had to ask three or four times for a progress report. This is not my responsibility. Also an email or letter should be signed by a named individual in the customer service department not just from “customer service”. In that way that individual becomes the link to a specific customer and thus confidence is maintained particularly when long delays are encountered.

We wanted a glass veranda, principally to provide cover for our hot tub. A glass roof was important to us so that we did not lose light coming into our kitchen. We did extensive research and were impressed with the Eden Verandas product range. Quality and service was important to us and we are advocates of the 'you get what you pay for' approach. All staff were professional, helpful and a pleasure to do business with at all stages, from the initial visit right through to installation. We have a superior, robust, stylish glass veranda with which we couldn't be more satisfied. We have no hesitation in recommending Eden Verandas.

I ordered my Glass Veranda at the end of July'21. But, due to COVID, manufacturing and delivery was significantly delayed. At all stages Eden Verandas kept me fully informed. They also provided a full service in obtaining the required planning permission. Once delivery was received from Germany installation proceeded in a timely manner. Their installation team was very friendly and competent. All is now installed and I am very happy with the outcome.

Exceptional quality and service - all the staff have been helpful, friendly and very professional. I love the veranda and am already talking to the company about adding to it. They are a great addition to any home and more modern and flexible than a conservatory.

The customer service was excellent. Our veranda seems to be excellent quality. The teams that delivered and fitted the product were on time, courteous and professional. There was a fair gap between assembly and then the wiring up being completed, due to lack of remote control, which was a bit frustrating. The electricians arrived early (excellent) and went above and beyond with their job. Top marks for them. I’ve only given four out of five because of the time taken from ordering to actually reaching the day of fitting. It was I believe just short of six months. The explanation being due to covid induced manufacturing problems. (Who knows?) Good job so far. Love the look of the product. We now have to wait until the summer to test it for real.

From the initial procurement, the start of the process to the much delayed installation, to faults with installation to financing; everything about the Eden Verandas project was unfortunately a poor experience in my opinion. Although now installed correctly, the fixed issues and a fantastic end product I could not write a positive review or recommend utilising this company. The lack of clear communication with expectation on timelines (stock management), finance options, varied customer service levels experienced and the sheer whataboutism about the issues with the build was something I could not believe. I truly believe that a Company with such an excellent end product need to look internally at processes, communication and overall customer support. The positive was the surveyor for the build whom was factual, open and very professional.

Very disappointed! The brochure states:" A glorious Winter's day...enjoy them all from your Eden Veranda." What the brochure and salesman didn't say, was that there is condensation in winter, which will cause water to drip from the underside of your veranda, wetting whoever may be standing/sitting underneath. An all weather veranda only if you invest in towels, squeegees and other accessories to dry the underside of the veranda. Don't even consider keeping furniture under the veranda, if you want your furniture to stay dry. After sales service was non-existent. I have been waiting a week for a call back from a manager. Still waiting!

Although there was a delay with delivery, due to brexit, the quality of service from design, to installation was excellent. I would certainly recommend Eden as a supplier.

Could not even be bothered to send a quote. Still waiting for one since April. In my view, companies like these appear to pick & choose which jobs they will do & probably really don't care much about customers. Thank goodness I eventually found a company with a passion for their business and give their customers hope. Finally, I got a lovely veranda built and I wasn't stupid to wait around for this one.
