United Kingdom | 15 November 2021I ordered a very large awning for my south facing French doors and windows in March 2021. This eventually arrived with COVID delays in June… duly fitted by contractors and electrician in following month. The awning is excellent and works well. My rating is poor due to problems with the casing. Surely this part should have been simple for reputable company. The first contractors fitted a plastic casing … this warped and curled up in full sun on the first days and weeks… EV responded to my complaint with a surveyor visit and made to measure metal casing. We are now November 21 … the metal casing was fitted last week. It looks good from the street view however it has been badly cut around the down pipe…...( the reason for the casing) then the contractors have made an odd off cut to cover it up and screwed it down over it for a cover up! It’s a terrible finish and will rust. The metal casing contractors indicated this was the third plastic casing they have changed.. clearly EV knows poor choice of casing for future. I contacted EV by email last week straight away with no response until I rang today. I have been told EV will get back to me eventually. Is this acceptable…it’s paid in full…nearly a year to fit a £10,000 awning!! On my part … I have had a lot of wasted days waiting for contractors and surveyors. It has cost me a lot of money. Also the metal contractors gave no indication that there had been a problem fitting around the pipe so I feel ‘ fobbed off’ with a poor service. Also the company left me with the plastic casing which I’ve just paid a man to dump! I had no where to store safely . Happy to show all pictures!

United Kingdom | 10 November 2021Wished we had never placed an order with this company. We made all the choices for the awning. They carried out the survey and we paid the deposit. Then to be told weeks later we couldn’t have it fitted due to our brickwork?? No time during the survey where we told there was a major problem with it. He did say it would not be a straightforward fitting due to the position but didn’t say it couldn’t be done. This really concerned us so we had our builder out to assess, to be told there was no issue with the brickwork. Reading between the lines. We think the order was too small for too little money and alot of work. We where only paying £7k (which we feel is a great deal of money) compared to the previous job the guy had just surveyed which was £30k. Basically wasn’t worth it financially. Have made 3 calls now to try and get our refund back and still haven’t received it. They keep making excuses. Certainly wouldn’t recommend this company from our experience. Will contact our bank if we don’t hear from them soon.

United Kingdom | 16 September 2021I contacted Eden Verandas due to a fault with my awning settings (awning not supplied by Eden). I was at a loss and going around in circles trying to find local support to reset the settings to allow the awning to retract fully. Eden verandas have been great from the start with all pre visit information to the engineer who visited today was fantastic. Such great customer service, Richard was happy to explain things to me and so respectful. I will not hesitate to use you again in the future and highly recommend to others.

United Kingdom | 07 September 2021We placed an order for a glass sunroom on 02/06/21. We had considered three companies initially, narrowed it down to two similar suppliers of German engineered products. Finally decided on Eden Verandas mainly on our confidence in their sales person. Peter Dickinson was our initial contact. Very professional, visited us on several occasions and was always available by phone or email. We signed the order which showed a lead in time of 8 - 12 weeks but Peter noted on the order that due to Brexit the lead time would now be 18 - 22 weeks. On 19th Jun we had a site visit from Lyle who did a detailed measurement and assessment of the sunroom. Other than adjusting the number of doors and their size he was happy with the design. Again a professional approach which gave us confidence. We then heard nothing until 27th July when sales manager Max Morris called to discuss the design and agree a minor alteration for a fillet to push the glass roof past external pipes. In all it had taken eight weeks to get from order to a position where Eden could requisition material from their German supplier. So we do not feel Eden will have any excuse to exceed the 22 week maximum installation date. Max told us to ring in 10 days or so when we would be given a provisional installation date. Since then we have had no contact with Eden that was not initiated by us. We rang sales director Neil Trevethan on 5th July and were told the materials were on the German production schedule but did not yet have a delivery date. Nine weeks later we have not had the courtesy of an update. We also asked Eden to deal with planning consent on 5th July, having signed a waiver in any event in order not to cause delay in installation. Nine weeks later we have received no update and there is nothing showing for a planning application at our address on our Local Authority website. We asked for detailed plans on 12th August but despite repeated requests, these have not been received. Surely these must be available and required for the planning application?? Excuses for failure to reply Annual leave - fair enough but put your out of office on! Unexpected annual leave Passed on your email but never followed up We are now two weeks without a reply to our last email So good start to the journey but very poor since Still time to pull it round Will complete post installation review

United Kingdom | 21 August 2021I am very pleased with my glass verandah. Eden were very professional throughout and kept me up to date with progress. They applied for my planning permission. I knew there would be delays with Covid and Brexit but I got updates. The installation staff were all so polite and didn't leave one scrap of rubbish behind. Not the cheapest quote I got but in the end you get what you pay for.

United Kingdom | 15 June 2021Great sales service and the product is excellent, but all the gear arrived weeks in advance of installation . Then having confirmed date and taken a day off work. No one turned up. Tried to call office numerous times, no answer. Then an email saying error at head office coming the following day between 8.30 and 11. Turned up at 7.30!. Electrician followed 2 days later. Both installation team and electrician excellent. However we still have a huge box of spare parts awaiting to be removed.

Next day I was contacted and told that the price would start from £7,000. Interesting they didn't ask for any dimensions from me so how did they arrive at that price. When I said that was too expensive the lady just said O.K. and hung up. Obviously didn't need my business.!!!! Also the price quoted was under a 20% sale promotion so that makes the starting price around £8,750 before discount.

United Kingdom | 08 May 2021Terrible experience over the past 12 months at every step of the journey: Planning permit was granted in time but it took 10 months to get the veranda delivered, vs 3-4 months promised by the company. Part of the reason was they had a made a mistake in the permit application. When it came, several options we had discussed and specified to the sales guy were not delivered. Especially the locking system on the door is a joke, it barely closes After installation, lot of leaking problems, it basically leaks every single time it rains and basically floods the veranda. It is the 4th time now one of their technician will have to come over... Every time I call the customer service department, it takes at least 2/3 weeks to get a technician to come in. So the work we have done inside the veranda is ruined because of their incompetency, lack of care and professionalism. Worst decision I have made in trusting this company

The salesperson talked us through exactly what could be done with the space that we wanted covered, the surveyor arrived promptly at the appointed time and we were able to talk through all the technical requirements. The installation team were extremely professional and had the veranda assembled by mid afternoon. In the month since the installation we have had high winds and torrential rain; the glass veranda has stood up to everything and is completely watertight.

United Kingdom | 10 March 2021The whole process was handled very professionally, from the original sales enquiry, the architect and the two guys who came to install it this week. All were courteous, professional and did a really good job. Special mention to the architect who, unlike other companies we approached, took time to go through the various options and the pros and cons of each. Also, the two installers were brilliant; friendly, tidy, and did a really excellent job in just two days (was scheduled for three). I would have no hesitation in recommending Eden to other prospective purchasers as, from my experience, you will be in very good hands.
