Massive increase in DD for the second year taken on the 11th month of the first year. Cancelled before the start of the second year and had to prove return of the pendant and base unit, plus all the other bits, before a refund was made. They denied receiving the pendant (which had been through the morgue) that was returned first. Use their own label and PO tracking proof when returning; even then they will not refund before you contact them again and again. The system is useless when it comes to detecting something wrong. It is simpler to carry a mobile phone in a pouch rather than having the false security of this 'service'. Very polite on the phone, of course. It's just words. In practice, this 'service' is designed to take advantage of the vulnerable and provides false security only.

Is there a way you can allocate a less precise requirement for the answer! I have just put in a random date otherwise I could not send this back to you.

If they think the emergency button needs replacing it is sent immediately. All the staff are extremely professional and kind. The technical department recently talked me through connecting the box to a digital/internet phone. I would recommend their services without hesitation.

United Kingdom | 05 November 2022I use the Service for My Elderly Mother to give me peace of mind, which it does. Their customer service is brilliant, she had a faulty unit, they detected the fault and rang me, the replacement unit got lost in the Post (Not Lifeconnect24 Fault), when I rang and told them we hadn`t got it they were a pleasure to speak with on the Phone, another unit arrived the next day. (They use this excellent system where you ring them, and you actually get to speak to somebody straight away) Regarding the perform of the actual service my mother had an incident where she thought her flat was on fire and pressed her pendant, this puts you straight through to the company and you can talk with them over a loudspeaker. They could hear the fire alarm going off in the background and got the Fire Service there straight away, thankfully it was a false alarm but if it hadn`t have been their prompt reaction could have saved people lives.

Very impressive. However, on a lighter note, the letter that came with this survey had no name on it, just a comma and a few days ago you all wished me a happy birthday even though my birthday is in February!
