United Kingdom | 29 May 2021The details have to be filled in online, no good for anyone without wifi, ie an 82yr old. The details should be available to be given over the phone. It is difficult filling in a form using your phone when you have to keep coming out of the form to get the phone numbers required that are stored in the phone. In Berkshire it was set up by the company, no wifi required.

United Kingdom | 29 May 2021Phoned Lifeline 24 to place order at 8.30 am and everything arrived, set up and running by 2 pm the next day. Phone always answered for general enquiries after a few rings. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Bought the GPS tracker with fall detection. Really simple to use and gives mum and us peace of mind. Excellent service so far, can’t fault it.

Promise of next day delivery was important because the 97 year old customer had fallen 2 days previously and was looking for security and reassurance. Unfortunately the alarm didn’t arrive for 72 hours due to Royal Mail apparently sending it to Cornwall via Northern Ireland. This meant I had to mark the review down. Lifelines response was to immediately dispatch another and both arrived on the same day. They could not have done more. Setting up the alarm was self explanatory and easy and the testing was reassuring.

United Kingdom | 01 May 2021This is an update since my initial review on 19 April 2021. For some reason I've been prevented from editing the orginal one. By whom, I cannot comment. At the specific request of Lifeline24 I emailed them privately & directly with proof of purchase they required. It seems she doubted I had this initially. Lifeline24 did not respond in the same way though. I never recieved a reply to my email. Lifeline24 preferring to update the company's response on a public platform, reiterating their terms of business. This equipment was purchased for my mother on 5 November 2020. Unfortunately, she went into hospital on 1 December approx. 2 weeks after receiving it. She never came out. She died 11 weeks later. We didn't cancel within their very limited 1 month period, because we thought my mum would make it back home. And, as anyone with any empathy can imagine, we had more important issues occupying our minds thereafter. Lifeline24 know full well our equipment was never used, by the nature of the product this is. Furthermore, after losing mum, other companies we had to cancel subscriptions with ALL offered refunds. Yet, Lifeline24, who is the only company specifically marketing products to sell to the old and vulnerable, are the only supplier who hasn’t.

Four months later I am still receiving calls requesting the cheap plastic bracelet which was on my mums wrist when she passed away and threatened with a charge. No compassion shown at all

My mum with Alzheimer’s was taken into residential care due to decline 1 month after £209 renewal. Cancelled but no refund provision. Equipment returned at own expense as rented!! No way to run a business when it’s stressful enough caring for elderly. Very poor. AVOID

United Kingdom | 08 February 2021Everything ran as expected when an emergency occured and you cannot fault lifeline24 for that side of the service. However please be aware that when you no longer require the service and system due to a sad loss that they will hound you for the equipment back regardless of the remaining term on your contract (we still have 7 months remaining). At such an upsetting time we found this hassling especially insensitive! Due to this if we should ever need this service again for another family member we will look elsewhere as this has left a very sour taste in our mouth.
