"... sort of conversation. Their team was really helpful to me - I've been in retail and marketing all of my working life and the vibes I got were very positive ... The DVDr I bought was delivered very well packed and in pretty good condition for pre-used ... There was a brand new remote and an enclosed booklet of user instructions I could barely lift ! , which were even more positive signs. So far, I've got only good things to say about this company ... ( and I'm a fussy sort of a bloke when it comes to quality of service ..... ) I'm also fairly cautious about giving recommendations, but the service I've received here is about as good as I could have wished to receive, so I'll only give them a cautious 99% !!!! The first unit arrived within 3-4 days, and when that one was found to be faulty a replacement was immediately sent with a return label for the faulty one. The VCR player received works really well - excellent picture quality and only a few minor cosmetic marks to give away its age. I can thoroughly recommend Electrovid.

United Kingdom | 19 August 2018Good and bad. Start with the bad which was just that the machine I received was ancient. It was dirty and was dented in two places. It lasted 1 week. But.... I had bought the 1 year guarantee, and therefore you can buy from this company with confidence. I received a cash refund as I returned the goods as not fit for purpose within 1 week. However, I feel confident that I would have had the machine repaired if the machine had failed later. The chap who dealt with me was efficient and the refund was within promised timescales (as per their internet page). I just wish they would reject even working VCRs that they receive to sell, if the machine is clearly a relic and in bad shape.

I had an small unforeseen fault on the first video I received and Ryan at customer services could not have been more helpful. He quickly sent me a replacement out straight away with a returns label for first one. I still cannot believe I have a fully functioning VHS player, with remote control for this money. I have seen reviews where people complain about the generic remote control and not being able to "set up" the player they have, but hey how can you tune in to non-existent, non-digital terrestrial channels when there are none ? I think Ryan and the team are doing a great service, supplying these machines, keep up the good work ;o)

Seitdem erhalte ich keine Info von der Emailadresse hilfe(add)electrovid.co.uk hilfe(add)electrovid.co.uk. Die angebene Emailadresse info(add)elektrovid.de existiert nicht. Ich gehe von einer Betrugsmasche aus! Also Finger weg !!!

United Kingdom | 04 December 2017I had a bad experience with Electrovid from start to finish. When my parcel arrived, it was missing the EasyCap USB so I couldn't use it. Rang and asked for a new one which took nearly two weeks to arrive and was broken when it finally turned up! Rang and asked for another, taking another week to arrive. The machine was also incredibly dusty, I know it is second hand but the site promises it will be cleaned of all dust which it definitely wasn't. The next problem was that the instruction manual did not match up at all to the software on the disk. The directions were for a different video software which made it really difficult to understand. I rang up to ask for some help and they couldn't offer me any advice on what to do? I had to google it and teach myself through a youtube video. I finally figure out how to record my tapes, which work perfectly fine through my tv, and they don't work. The picture is jumpy with black and blue wavy lines across the screen, completely unwatachable. I gave up and sent the kit back for a refund. I waited a week after my Royal Mail tracking marked the parcel as delivered, having had no confirmation that Electrovid had received it. They promised me a refund by "early next week", it arrives on Thursday night after another email investigating. All this took almost 2 months from the original order to the final refund. Do not recommend at all too much hassle and unprofessional service.

I outlined specifically what I was seeking, and Ryan volunteered to look into what was available in stock. The precise model that I was seeking was not available, but he located and responded back to me with a very similar model being available. I opted to proceed with purchasing that item, and it was delivered promptly and extremely well packaged. I was very happy with the visible quality of the item, and once installed and tested, I am very happy with the operational quality - and based upon this, I am confident that it will (hopefully) provide many years of service. Therefore, I am one very satisfied customer, and I would score my experience as 10 out of 10 - excellent. I would be happy to use Electrovid again, and have no hesitation in recommending them.
