United Kingdom | 05 August 2022I was told that Have Bike were not part of Halfords as I had a bad experience previously. However found out when I complained to customer services that it was owned by Halfords. No communication until I chased as they had my bike for 10 days rather than the 2 quoted. They couldn’t fit the like for like part so wanted to charge me to fit a less suitable part and if I didn’t like it could pay again for the replacement! Then wanted me to collect the bike when I had paid for collection & return service! After complaining they fitted the alternative part FOC. Communication was not good throughout!

United Kingdom | 02 August 2022Had a bike inspection carried out by Halfords and accepted the advice to carry out service and repair work. When the bike was in the workshop other problems were found. I called Havebike to discuss these and I found them to be extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. I have ended up spending more than I anticipated but I feel everything was genuinely needed. They telephone support was patient and clear. The team could not have done more to help me and particular thanks to Nathan who remained very polite very calm and very re-assuring. Would use Havebike again without any hesitation and recommend them to anybody.

United Kingdom | 29 July 2022Bike booked in for a £199 service to be collected on 21 July 22 and due for return on 29 July 22 21 July 22: No call prior to collection 29 July 22: I call havebike to be told (by a very helpful Nathan) that my bike has not been in the workshop and it will not be delivered today. So what’s going on havebike? No updates to let a customer know that he doesn’t have to spend the day waiting for a bike that’s not going to be delivered, no updates to let a customer know when he can expect the return of a bike and forward plan his day to accept a collection. No proactive communication from havebike makes me wonder why I paid a premium price for a suboptimal experience, that, as yet, is not complete.

United Kingdom | 29 July 2022My e-bike was collected on time by James, taken to the workshop & given a thorough examination, I received, by email, the information of parts needing special attention & the cost thereof. This I paid as I wanted my e-bike in good order to use again! The repairs were done &, die to a computer glitch I didn't get my bike back til a day after it was meant to be returned &, unfortunately, the saddle was to high! I asked a friend to help lower the saddle the next day.

Pick up and drop off was as described online and drop off and information on what they did to the bike was very informative. Will surly use again if needed.

United Kingdom | 19 July 2022I would recommend these guys made things so easy for me. Pointed out things wrong with bike and you can choose to get work done or not. Bike got returned I test rode bike but gears wernt quite right. Give the guys a call collected bike Saturday and returned Monday with my complaint sorted. Got a call Monday morning saying bike would be delivered between 9 and 11 but no one would be in so they delivered to my work address Thanks Havebike and all staff that dealt with.me.

United Kingdom | 14 July 2022As the title suggests I already did a review a few weeks ago. However, I want to follow it up with another quick review just to emphasise how good Havebike are. In short, maybe two weeks after my full service, I had a problem with my back tyre. I found this odd because I had gotten the full service and that I had previously said the bike had felt like new. Anyway, I emailed Havebike, explaining my problem and citing the 3 month warranty. I had an email back without any quibble saying they would be happy to collect the bike and look at it again for me. The bike was duly collected and about a day later Matt or Michael (soz can’t remember the nice guy’s name), rang me and explained the issue. It turned out, the fault was possibly my own, but all the same he said they had replaced the inner tube at no extra cost and sending my bike back to me. He also said to me if I encountered the problem again to let them know in an email. My point is this is proper customer service. I was really worried I’d have to fork out more money but I didn’t and everything was talked about with me in a professional way. Thank you to everyone including the drivers at Havebike. I hope anyone who is a bit worried about using this service will read this review and my prior review and see what a special company you are.

United Kingdom | 12 July 2022Cycle was booked for a 69.99 standard service, with the replacement of tyres and inner tubes requested at the collection site. Brake pads were found to be in need of renewal a week after the bike arrived in workshop. Having to pay for this check PLUS the repair parts and labour incurred a total cost of 177, more than I paid for the bike second hand. Although the cycle is roadworthy and was repaired well, it would have been cheaper to replace it. A number of different repair quotes were received by phone and email, but credit to HB they dialled back costs I flagged up as excessive. HB were friendly and agreeable throughout the process, and to those who might consider using them for repairs that can be claimed as business costs, wholly recommend them.
