United Kingdom | 03 April 2020I am beyond impressed with my experience with MR Systems, my Macbook Pro broke just as COVID-19 hit London, and at this point all the Apple Stores had already closed. Luckily I found MR Systems who have a great online chat service, to help with a free diagnosis before collecting, diagnosing and repairing my macbook. They were great at keeping me updated and informed and lifted a great weight off my shoulders during this stressful time. Special thanks to Karl online who answered all my questions and made this such a smooth process. Hopefully I won’t break my Macbook again and have to return anytime soon, but in the meantime I would recommend here to everyone! Great and fast customer service!

Israel | 28 March 2020My experience with MR Islington this week has been nothing less than exceptional. I first spoke to Apple themselves, who diagnosed the issue with my Macbook Pro as a hardware issue, and gave me MR Islington as my nearest Apple-authorised service company. Having made an appointment with MR via the Apple Support website, I took my laptop in for repair on Monday. Having replicated the Apple diagnostic tests, they ordered the required replacement screen (under my 3-year AppleCare warranty) and kept the laptop. The next day they offered me, and I accepted, the chance to collect it after the government-advised closure of the shop to the public. Today (Friday) I checked the MR website, which indicated that the shop itself was open for repairs being carried out, but deliveries were only acceptable via mail or courier. I called the shop and explained that I need the Macbook for working at home. As the replacement screen had been received already from Apple, they agreed that I could pass the laptop through the window of the shop and wait for it to be repaired. After only 45 minutes the Macbook was fixed, with the new screen fitted, and they messaged me to say it was ready for collection. Needless to say the repair was done perfectly, and I am writing this review from my Macbook. I cannot recommend this company any more highly - absolutely first class customer service.

But the team got a 7 day repair done in just 48 hours. Really happy with the service. It's made a big difference to me and my business so thank you for your help. Really needed this to work remotely from home.

From the warm and personable front of house reception to the efficient and professional solutions to Apple issues, I would recommend them 100%. I feel bad as I can't remember anyone's names, but when I was last in for a check up a couple of months ago, one of the behind the scenes staff tended to my problems patiently (I'm totally tech illiterate) and mended my apple free of charge! I'm hugely grateful for the kindness and attention. Thanks guys. HB

The staff were very polite and even offer a cup of tea which was very nice as I was waiting for the phone. The office is also very nice and clean. I was really happy with the service and extremely surprise that could get Apple support within my local area instead of my travelling to oxford street. This saved me time and travel cost.

Claimed it was because there was water damage inside phone which moved down when they opened it. Can't help but feel a little shortchanged by that.... not satisfied.

United Kingdom | 23 November 2019I used MR to replace the battery in my macbook (Apple had issued a recall for fault batteries). I chose them because they're closer and I could get an appointment immediately, unlike at Apple's stores. I asked them if in addition to the battery replacement whether they could replace the keyboard, which I would pay for. They came back and said that the keyboard is replaced as part of the battery replacement, so got it all done for free. Another store might have not acted that way... They said it would take 5-7 working days (for the part to arrive) and it did indeed take 5 and I'm very happy.

Just suggested that I re-install the operating system and then restore from my time machine back-up... and then after I have spent about 10 hours doing all that, I should just hope that everything will be ok.

United Kingdom | 30 September 2019Turned in my computer this last Friday, the people there were so knowledgable and called me throughout the day to update me on what was going on and telling me what had caused the problem. Got notified when to pick at up and when I did I was told they had fixed the problem and updated my computer. I’ve turned the same computer in before at another place where I myself had to call them and ask when to pick it back up, so MR Islington was such a good choice this time! Genuinely such a nice team and I would highly recommend going there!

However I was directed to them by Apple for an issue with a 2011/12 iMac, called them to make an appointment, and explained the issue. The guy at the end of the phone told me they could fix it so I drove the machine from Greenwich to Shoreditch only to be told they couldn't fix it after all. So two hours schlepping across London for nothing.
