They arrived before the event date -well done for that service alone. Yes there are cheaper alternatives out there on the web BUT the quality of the packaging and the items inside elevate the gift to another level. Exceptional Service, Expceptional Product. Beth in customer service was amazing and held my order as I was on holiday when the blanket was ready to be shipped. I can't thank her enough for her kindness. I’ve waited weeks before writing this review to give ScotlandShop ample opportunity to fix the situation. They have not. After my measuring appointment with Damon, who was fantastic, he advised that a rush order was not required when purchasing my kilt as, according to the schedule, it should have been delivered weeks before my wedding. Unfortunately, my kilt was delayed and, after chasing customer support several times, I was assured by Beth that it would be completed ‘early in the week‘ and sent to me straight after. Again there was a lack of updates and it eventually transpired that the kilt was delivered to their office the following Thursday and eventually arrived with me on the Saturday, well over a week late. As soon as I opened the package, I spotted the error in tartan and when calling ScotlandShop was fortunate to come through to Damon who, within the hour, was able to identify the source of the error and did everything he could to start the wheels in motion to fix the issue. On the Monday after receiving the kilt, a week before my wedding, I was informed at the end of the day that ScotlandShop couldn’t fulfil my order in time and that, rather than starting to make a new kilt, the order had been cancelled. When originally ordering my kilt, I had been diligent, not only to check it would be delivered in time, but also to check that the correct tartan was in stock (I was told it was present in abundance). I told customer service I would still like a kilt and was told it wouldn’t be ready until over a month after it should have been delivered already. Since then, I’ve been battling to even be acknowledged by customer service. On several occasions, I’ve been promised callbacks by Beth, and by her colleagues on her behalf, and every time I was left waiting. I waited days before chasing on occasions to let ScotlandShop start to fix things, even though the schedule was increasingly tight, but was always let down. I was eventually offered a 10% discount. I told Beth that this would not be sufficient given the other costs incurred, not least having family urgently post a kilt for me to have something to wear on my wedding day with all of the other clothes I had purchased to accompany the kilt. Beth said she would speak to her manager and call me back the following day with a new offer. I was also promised a returns label for the kilt I had received in the wrong tartan. I am still waiting to receive either. I waited a full week (until after the wedding day) to follow up as, yet again, Beth had failed to call me back as she had promised. When calling a week later, I was told Beth was in a virtual appointment and would call me back. I told the customer service agent that I would not be able to receive a phone call the next day as I would be travelling and was assured I would receive a callback the same day. I’m still waiting to receive any contact from ScotlandShop. I’m still waiting on a new offer of compensation. I’m still waiting on a returns label. Given this, I’m left with a wrong kilt, no way of returning it, and having paid over £700 for a kilt I have not received.

Remainder sent, expedited that time. Very inconvenient as I had a customer waiting for the items I was making for them. Time wasted going back and forwards to sort this out. Also had to make trip to post office to return 1st incorrect delivery. Although eventually I have all that I ordered given the experience and inconvenience I would perhaps have expected some form of compensation or gesture of goodwill.
