United Kingdom | 10 September 2021I enjoy playing under the Playmoregolf, umbrella as it suits my personal needs. However my one gripe is that my club runs a 12 hole Winter League competition but I have to use points as if I am playing 18 holes...I even requested that if I signed up to play 3 times equalling 36 holes, I couldn't use the number of points as if I had played 2 rounds of 18 holes ????

United Kingdom | 09 September 2021Friendly staff and a beautiful course has made it all worth while, really enjoy the day out on the course and will continue with my local club.

United Kingdom | 08 September 2021PMG is excellent for golfers who don’t get value from a full membership and just want to play periodically, or like me who won’t play in winter. It is also useful to take family and friends without hassle

United Kingdom | 06 September 2021Excellent value for the casual golfer and the ability to play at different clubs

United Kingdom | 06 September 2021A great flexible membership which fits around my full time job. It allows me to be a member of a golf club with all the benefits that full members receive, but at a lower and very reasonable price to suit my availability. I love that I can also visit other clubs in the UK with the one membership package too. I have had a very good experience with the PMG team and my home club, so cannot fault the membership package at all. Thank-you Torquay golf club for making me feel valued and PMG for a great and simple service that works around my busy life. 😀

United Kingdom | 04 September 2021I can’t use the app for my home course to book, so frustrating Update I will clarify that my home course has now let me access their own app and linked it with PlayMoreGolf. Improvement and clear the company value their golfers. Moved from 1 to four stars

United Kingdom | 02 September 2021I first became aware of PlayMoreGolf whilst watching a Peter Finch video on YouTube. As a relatively new golfer I was instantly drawn to the concept and saw there were several local clubs to me. After lockdown ended, I took the plunge and joined a club, I also referred my mate who I play with as he liked the idea too. By referring him it meant we got additional points as well as a good offer at the time for extra points too. Within a day of joining, I got a call from the club welcoming me as a member and they gave me a bit of insight as to the club and facilities available. On the day of our first round we were also given the membership pack that any “normal” member would receive. We play 1 or 2 times a week at our home club and have plenty of points to do so. It’s quieter in the week when we choose to play so for beginners there’s little pressure on us. We’ve also had a brilliant weekend away utilising away points at a couple of clubs on the east coast, we’ve actually took advantage of an offer on away points so that we can go and explore more away courses. The best thing for me is value for money. The two away courses we played cost us 8 points in total, another mate came who isn’t a member and it cost him £70 to play the two courses. Our home course cost £25 a round so again, at 5 points a round for the time we play, we are quids in. The app is good and easy to use however a recent update is the only reason this isn’t a 5 start review. When booking now it shows available tee times but it also shows tee times that are booked but not full. So, I can book a tee time for me and my mate and it will stay open so anybody else can book the same time. The theory is that it allows people to book on together at a later time but the downside is you could end up with the same tee time as some random players. It’s happened once where a 2 ball has booked onto the same tee time I had booked and to be honest, I don’t want to play with people I don’t know so when we got there we let them go off and we played after as a 2 ball but that would then push everyone back. Luckily on that occasion the other 2 ball went out early so we only teed off a few minutes later and there was no disruption. All in all though, my experience has been brilliant and I’m sure to renew after my first year!

United Kingdom | 01 September 2021Playmore golf (PMG) is a very economical way of playing golf, especially if you play later in the day. My local club Cleobury Mortimer cost 2 points (£6.25) per 9 holes after 3pm during the summer season. It is then 2 points for 18 holes in the winter season after 11am. I can also use my points to pay for my son. Under 18s are always 2 points at any of the PMG clubs and any time of day. You can take a junior with you unlimited times but other adults up to 5 times a year. I got a discount code worth 12 points by selecting the special offer link on the PMG website. Booking a teatime is easy using the PMG app. I would definately reccomend!!

United Kingdom | 30 August 2021Given the weather we have had recently, together with Covid restrictions, a flexible 'golf club' membership has worked out perfectly for me. My wife and I usually spend time abroad during Spring and Autumn, but this has not been possible, so using my points and topping up as necessary, plus playing different courses, has been good.

United Kingdom | 29 August 2021Have recently joined one of my local clubs via play more golf and thus far everything has been seamless, customer service has been excellent and I'm wondering why it took me this long to sign up!

United Kingdom | 26 August 2021I only joined PlayMoreGolf a couple of days ago but so far so good. Booking a tee time at my local course was easy. The only snag I hit was that my friend, who is a full member at the same club, couldn't find a way of joining me for a game. In the end he had to book it through the Pro rather than online. After comparing PlayMoreGolf with full membership or 5-Day Membership I came to the conclusion that PLM was much better value: no proposer or seconder needed, no fees wasted if lockdown shuts down the course for half the year and since I work away for 6 months of the year, PMG should be ideal for me.

United Kingdom | 24 August 2021I lost points from last year but would have liked a warning for example on the app which is what I use. Also there are no details on the app when my current points finish.

United Kingdom | 20 August 2021PlayMore Golf is a flexible and affordable way to play golf at a local club, and try out other courses too. My only gripe, is that some clubs had continued to be closed to PlayMore visitors for months after national Covid restrictions were lifted. This type of local “withdrawal” from the scheme was not explained in the conditions of membership, as being acceptable practice. This meant that I have been unable to use all my Flexi points this year, although I can carry them over for 3 months, which is good. Overall a great scheme to join.
