There's a lot to like about this set up. The away points to play at different clubs, the ease of booking, the ease of cancellation, being able to take a friend along at the same cost, providing one is prepared to play later on in the day how cheap it is (£7 a round). The down side is joining in with the club and playing at 0900 makes for expensive golf . I have 5 courses within 5 miles and none are in pmg so I travel 13 miles, not too bad except in rush hour. Fantastic if you don't want to commit too much time to the game. Playing mornings or weekends regularly you may want to join a club.

Playmore golf is perfect for my situation, I do not have enough time to consider joining a club full time, under normal circumstances, Playmore golf allows me about 20 rounds at 5 points I don't play weekends, my only issue has been the club I have as a home club told me they were not staying with Playmore golf after I had just committed, and have not been able to gain a handicap

This is a great way to enjoy golf without committing to an expensive membership at a single club. The one criticism that I have is that it would be better to have a bigger proportion of flexible (away) points in the inclusive price. If you have friends local to you and access to different courses, then it is better to join different clubs as your home club, and host each other in turn.

Overall I am pleased to be a member of PMG. The opportunities to participate as a body of golfers is limited but with the concept of a “home” club we, if we choose to, can build relationships & participate in competitions in our home clubs. That said j would live to see more linkage between PMG members at each “home” club. On a negative, I have been a member at Chilwell Manor & have yet to meet another PMG Member! Admin, could be a bit more positive through COVID - 19 some little things have slipped. E.g. admin think that I gave only just joined despite my 4 years of membership.

Easy to join. Wareham is a great course with some challenging holes. Both experienced and novices can enjoy playing.

I am a fair weather player so I don't play in the winter so play more golf is ideal for me as I can't justify £900 for what normally is 6 months playing, I also like the fact that I can top up my points at anytime, so for me its brilliant I have all the benefits of membership for just over a third of the price. keep up the good work

I am a person that loves to play golf with friends and family but I cannot commit to join a golf club. PlayMoreGolf gives me the opportunity to be a member of a club and the freedom to chose where and when I can play. Which suits my lifestyle perfectly.

Love play more golf, flexible less expensive way to play golf depending on the time you play, works for me and I think over the cost green fees I will save around £350 a year. Gives me a few pounds left to play courses that are not on the scheme as well but there are loads of courses on the scheme near me.

when thinking about joining houghwood there are some restrictions to take into account 1.flexi members cannot book Saturday morning tee times 2.you can only book one week in. advance 3.practice facilities are limited but the course is usually in very good condition it's a challenging course and the members are very welcoming.

I have been a PMG member for a year now and the membership works well for me so can’t complain about that at all. Don’t think they work particularly well with clubs to make sure their members feel welcome as since joining I’ve had zero contact from my home club. I’ve also just had an issue on renewing my membership as it was easy to do but then finding out that other members are being handed out extra points on renewal isn’t a good look at all. I have found out that some members I play with have all been given a certain amount of extra points I wasn’t given on renewal. What hasn’t helped here was when I sent an email to customer services to ask about this I was basically sent a reply telling to sod off I won’t be getting any extra goodwill points. Not great at all and will make me think twice when this years membership runs out.

Really helpful when signing up, with nice friendly staff who work around you. Great value all round, at my home course and away. So many choices with away clubs and it's great I can put my friends down, so they benefit from my membership too. My home club have and are great - Stockley Park, I cannot fault anything there. Most of the Away clubs have been fantastic with some really lovely course. What does let PlayMore Golf down is when any issue arise, it is very hard to get to someone, in fact near impossible - everything is all automated talking to a computer. Also the price promise is with your home club only, so when using Away points always check the club website, as it maybe cheaper to pay there instead. And some Away clubs just don't give any tee times whatsoever, so they might as well not be on the list. However, overall it's been fantastic and I would really recommend it. Great value all round.

Like others, have found that you are not entitled to the same benefits as full members of your club. I've no complaints about my club; well run and efficient. Want to book a tee time? No morning slots for you and forget weekends. Buddying up to make up 4 balls is common. I've also referred two friends who opened accounts without choosing a club. Within hours they were telephoned unsolicited by a club near them touting for their business. The PMG adherence to GDPR suggests that clubs are business partners and allow them access to all of your data. Better off joining your chosen club and if you want instalments, negotiate it with the club.
