It’s absolutely brilliant to have golf available to me whilst I have 2 young children at home and can’t get out and play all the time. It is the perfect membership for me.

I was told that transferring home clubs was a real pain in the backside. But, within my two weeks start date, I emailed on a Saturday, Monday morning I had an email, Monday afternoon I was a member if a different club. Mare than happy

Excellent Value with lots of perks like food/drink discounts, handicap and club comps etc. It is also great that you can play lots of other courses too. Hopefully more and more clubs will join the scheme and make it even better!

Just started PMG this year as I only play now and again and in the Summer. It is ideal for me and my home course is a great knock and have played a number of times already. Obviously not for everyone, with reference to points matrix etc but is a no brainer for me. Can always review at end of year before you commit to continuing. Nice one 👍⛳

Read the t&c’s very carefully before signing up. Clubs can and are changing their points systems whenever they want. 20-30 rounds of golf per year can quickly become 10 or less. It’s like leasing a car with an agreement of 12,000 miles per year and a week or so down the line the annual mileage restriction is reduced to 3,000 miles. When this happens PMG simply tell you to speak to the golf club concerned as they have nothing to do with the points matrix. Play More Golf quickly becomes play less golf. Many clubs allow their full members to book more days in advance than PMG members. Weekends and evening times through the week are normally fully booked before PMG members have the opportunity to book. PMG are very quick to delete negative comments on their social media posts. In my opinion PMG are simply out to make a quick buck. They do a great job in signing up new clubs and members but the service they provide isn’t the best. The scheme looks too good to be true and unfortunately it is!

Like most companies, very difficult to contact when there is a problem, no reply to email, 3 day wait if they do reply, I will seriously have to think next year whether it is worth the hassle.

I signed up Tuesday evening. Joined my local golf club Bransford and played it Wednesday. Before joining PlayMore explained all to me before signing up. My club were fantastic and explained everything on how it works there end and my Membership card was waiting for me. Looking forward to many years of golf now and buying 5000 golf balls.

Great that home points are carried over, great service. One minor moan- I keep getting regular e-mails about becoming a member- can a filter be put in place to stop these please- I’ve been a member for over 12 months now.

Love it works perfectly

I dropped from full membership to PMG at my club as I no longer had the free time to play and get value for the price of membership. The first couple of years were great but now the club themselves have changed the rules for PMG members and I no longer feel like a true member of the club. Will be looking to change clubs next year. Check the clubs own rules before signing upto PMG is my best advice.

I was happy with my previous club but couldn't justify £12/1300 a year as I was out of the country a lot.PMG is a great alternitive and flexible. Obviously the full time members of my new PMG club get priority, but at £325 a year I am happy with the situation. I also get the same pro shop and clubhouse discounts as the full time members. The recent Covid restrictions were a little frustrating, but in the great scheme of things PMG is well worth the fee.
