United Kingdom | 23 March 2021I'm very much enjoying having PMG membership, it enables me, a typical average golfer to try out courses all over the country. Some that I wouldn't normally of gained access as a pay and go visitor without being accompanied by a member of those clubs. Customer services have been helpful with any queries I had too. Really can't complain.

United Kingdom | 12 March 2021Absolutely disgraceful! arrogant and patronising! Do not deal with this company! I emailed them twice earlier this year as I knew my membership was expiring in March, just to ask them what they are doing with regards to membership extension in lieu of the lost months due to Covid -19. To say I was shocked is an understatement, not only did they attempt to take a payment, but also no concession or gesture had been offered for the 5 months lost out of the 12 months I had already paid for, putting it down to their company policy! Nobody likes to lose business during these unprecedented times, but you have to remember, a business isn’t a business without customers and by not being transparent with your customers is not only damaging to your brand, but also your reputation. I certainly will not be renewing again and I suggest that if anyone else has a renewal coming up, you seriously think about your options carefully!

United Kingdom | 10 March 2021Excellent customer service from Lisa, who resolved a tricky transfer of clubs when my membership became due for renewal recently. This involved a considerable amount of points which had built up because of the lockdowns. All is neatly sorted now, and I can look forward to another year playing on a great variety of courses here in the midlands.Thank you very much for a providing a service which has enabled myself and other family members to play the game economically and on some excellent courses.

United Kingdom | 07 March 2021Utter disgrace, paid for a membership last march only to have gone through multiple lock downs, on 2 occasions i booked for my home course only to arrive and be closed before full lickdown, when i contacted PMG and asked why they were still taking bookings i was told i should call club first before arriving !?! Whats the point of having a booking page. Ive now been made redundant and asked about an extension due to loss in months of membership and all i get is “ due to these difficult times” no sympathy just we can help by taking instalments ! And the only way i can get to use my membership and points is to renew, I will be contacting my credit card supplier to raise a dispute a get my money back, utter joke.and customer service is shocking !!! Dont bother with these, purchase a real membership people.

United Kingdom | 06 March 2021I have read through quite a few reviews and contrary to some, believe PMG to be fantastic value for what you pay at £350. I do however feel I also benefit from the course I joined treating us as full playing members are treated, from phone calls to see how I am getting on, regular emails letting us knowing what’s going on, they’ve even linked in PMG members so that we can play together if we wish. All bookings are made through websites, with next to no issues booking tee-times using points, and I’ve played 4 different courses in three counties without any issues. Yes the last year has been incredibly challenging, yes I only got to use half my points, but by my reckoning that still left me much better off than full price green fees. Many thanks PMG and Diss Golf course

United Kingdom | 21 February 2021PlayMore Golf is a fantastic fit for golfer like myself who cant commit to a full time membership and i would have no issues in recommending the service to any prospective clients, great site easy to use and book and a great way of trying other courses at the time. Definitely worth the subscription costs and a great way to get the feel of a membership.

United Kingdom | 17 February 2021I am about to eat a small portion of humble pie. But that is down to the very professional way Lisa Holt the customer service manager has dealt with my situation at playmore golf. I did not like the approach taken by another employee and reacted to the situation. Hence my previous post. I and 3 of my playing partners have all now renewed our memberships. This is solely down to Lisa and her skills at dealing with a tricky situation. She has understood our concerns with not being able to use our points and has dealt with them to a very satisfactory conclusion. We are now able to use our outstanding points within a realistic timeframe. Many thanks Lisa.

United Kingdom | 10 February 2021I recently booked for membership with my local club through PlayMoreGolf. Due to events through COVID my situation changed and this meant I would not be able to regularly play at the club I had bought membership for. After contacting PlayMoreGolf I had fantastic customer service with prompt, helpful and friendly response and quickly had a solution to my problem found. Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had with customer service and I’m absolutely chuffed with my membership. Thanks Lisa!

United Kingdom | 31 January 2021Let's be frank, unprecedented times this year and I can understand that it's not ideal for PMG but for me it's not just the lack of extension of membership due to COVID. Like most reviews, when this works it is good but I cannot get a decent tee time unless I want to take the day off work. Yet I can still book a slot if I pay for a round with another website! I have tried to use my flexi-points, booked online, arrived at the course to be told it shouldn't have allowed me to book and I can't play as there is a medal on. Clearly the system needs to improve. PMG gave me the points back but no compensation or fuel money. I also couldn't get another booking anywhere as it was Saturday morning. I have decided to make a S75 claim on my credit card as I paid in one go. I would recommend that those who have done the same have a look at this option as clearly this product has been mis-sold. Thanks

United Kingdom | 09 January 2021I am extremely sceptical about the number of 5 star reviews on this site. They must be living in a different universe to anyone I know who has PMG in 2020. By the time full members have taken up the good T times, PMG members are often left with 1-2 hours daylight, or just NO availability. Club have even stated that this is the case because they have to offer preferential treatment to their own members. Why can’t PMG just make all points FLEXI to prevent this stopping us from playing. The only way I’ve used up points this year is allowing my friends to play on my account for free. Absolute Joke. Covid doesn’t help, after lockdowns 1 and 2, availability was zero.

United Kingdom | 09 January 2021Won’t be renewing next year, despite the fact that “all my points carry over”. Absolute joke, courses closed for COVID, then when we had a small window to play they were frozen and now back into lockdown but won’t extend any memberships. The excuse they use that no other course are extending it wrong, my other course I’m a member at are extending memberships for the the length that they are closed. They have a complete disregard for people, act as if it’s the courses causing the issues, but I paid my money to PMG but they’re washing their hands of it. The pandemic brought about true colours of courses as most courses limited the booking window for less than that of full members so it caused serious issues for booking any rounds when we could play and also limited amount of tee times you could book. PMG need to rethink their plan as it seems (looking at a vast majority of other reviews, and on their Facebook group, which they are like dictators on if you say anything remotely bad) to be in similar thoughts. Renew for £350/£400 to keep your points, but oh you lose your away points, which weren’t allowed to be used as we couldn’t really travel out of the local areas. Come on PMG, you are losing customers over this. Response: I’m not quite sure how my “statement on away (flexi) points is incorrect”? Most clubs weren’t accepting visitors, is that wrong PMG? Do flexi points carry over if you renew? No. Is that also wrong PMG? Would love to discuss this further, you called once on Tuesday, left no message or no email, so please try again. Don’t bother with PMG Facebook page, rude, unhelpful “admins”. Update 21/4/21 - no feedback was given, just rejected, I can provide you with screenshots to prove no feedback was given if you would like? Regards

United Kingdom | 07 January 2021I've also lost all my points from last year because i too couldn't afford to renew my membership , pmg say unless i fork out another £350 to top up i will lose all existing points .This is totally unacceptable during these difficult times , as i was unable to use my points due to courses being closed . I would never recommend this company again and in future support my local club and use tee times for cheaper golf elsewhere ...i have renamed pmg to playnogolf .....

United Kingdom | 02 January 2021You get good value with this, but only when you can sneak in a tee time. You are only given a weeks notice to book, fair enough. But when you see tee times on other websites for 2 weeks or 10 days in advance do you realise that you are actually treated worse than a visitor than a so called ‘member’. As other people have eluded to on here, it is simply a numbers game for them and pretty much any gripe you have is met with “sorry, can’t help”. Good concept but highlights golf’s elitist attitude again

United Kingdom | 31 December 2020I can't recommend pmg. I contacted them to see if they would be extending membership due to course closures due to Covid. I have a lot of points left to use and due to a change of circumstances will be unable to renew next year. Their reply straight to the point, unless I renew all my outstanding points will be lost. Very disappointed in these unprecedented circumstances that they have taken this decision. I have provided my contact details and home club via your contact us page on your website. Contacted PMG as requested, just to update answer is still the same, renew or all your points are lost.

United Kingdom | 29 December 2020Very good scheme, for like me, the time pressed golfer!!Got a handicap which I can use in open competitions and also play different courses as I get bored of playing the same course all the time. If you're smart with your points and play off peak,18holes round good courses for less than a tenner is great value. However with this awful pandemic, golf demand has massively increased (back to the levels in the mid 80s when I started and municipal course were packed and private clubs had joining fees and waiting lists)a scheme like pmg may be ignored by clubs as they will have full membership and their own flexible membership schemes. If next year's prices go up too much and clubs put more restrictions on playing and increasing their points to play I shall not be renewing but so far excellent!!

United Kingdom | 14 December 2020Playmoregolf have resolved the issue of the missing points I purchased satisfactorily. It took time and prompting via the online mechanisms provided - but happy to say it was resolved properly by Customer services

United Kingdom | 11 December 2020Would definitely not recommend play more golf to anyone!! Because of the covid outbreak, nearly 4 months of 2020 we were unable to play golf, when I asked if there was any provision for this as in an extension to the membership, I received a flat 'no'. I still have well over half of my points to use totalling over £250 which unless I renew for a cost of a further £400 I cannot use them - outrageous!!

United Kingdom | 05 December 2020Rubbish at a popular club you are treated as a second class member - would be better if you could move your home club points to flexi points. I’ve used all my flexi points but struggling to use my home points due to ridiculous booking rules and massive favouritism to full members.

United Kingdom | 30 November 2020In 2019 I played 26 rounds at my home club as a flexible member which worked out at £20.65 per round (£537 year). In 2020 I joined PMG and by coincidence I will also play 26 rounds rounds, only £13.27 per round (£345 year). A saving of almost £200. If I had the time and played golf once or twice a week I would become a full member, however at the moment I can't, so PMG is PERFECT. I have already paid my £350 for 2021 and got an extra 20 home points. Its a 'no brainer' for me
