Probably like many this year, after being an on and off golfer for several years (more off than on) I have been playing more this year. The PMG package has been excellent, the online booking is very straight forward, with Portal as the home club with three courses also allows for any level of golfer. I wasn’t confident I could justify the time and cost of a full membership. I have been playing mainly with my 14yr old. I would definitely recommend it as a way into the game. Though I am surprised the Portal golf club have never contacted me directly.

About two months ago I broke my leg and dislocated my ankle so that put paid to my golf, as my membership was coming up for renewal I requested an extension so that I wouldn't lose my points that enable me to play courses UK wide, technically these points expire at renewal date but Rachel in Customer Services could not have been more helpful and understanding and helped me through the process to extend my renewal period so that I can get back playing as soon as I am able, I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Play More Golf.

Decent value with good flexibility. Customer support has been very quick and efficient. The app had a couple of compatability issues with my home club, but upon realising that it was sorted. The app is very nice too, couldn't be eaiser to use. Would be nice if you could log scores etc. on it to keep track of handicaps etc.

I literally never write reviews but ive been so impressed with PMG's customer service and can do attitude rather than the usual 'computer says no' approach I felt the need to write a review. Very accommodating to my needs every step and of course the whole concept and business model is just fantastic. Great idea providing affordable golf memberships that make sense, backed up by a fantastic customer service.

Great course, tad wet but expected,played only 9 holes off white tees, Don't be fooled by going round twice for the full 18, completely different course yardages loads different some over100 yards Again great course and staff

Booking process isn't linked to course Like others I have been disappointed and frustrated by the fact that I have to manually book a round at my home course. There seems to be zero communication between PMG and my home course, PMG tell me I just need to phone the club to book a round and give them my e mail address so they can take my points off but the club have no idea about this. Overall I've found PMG disappointing and a bit misleading.

When is a tee time booking not a tee time booking ? Tee bookings made through PMG are not honoured by the Pontefract club but rather the booking is to join the queue on the first tee !! Be very wary of the many restrictions around your booking - no 4 balls is a particular favourite ; even when you have booked for a 4 via the PMG tool. The club also has a penchant for not opening any PMG booking slots on a given day as someone forgets to do it ! Not a great experience or a place to have as your 'home club'. PMG Customer Services stock answer to any problem is to tell you to take it up with the Club directly - well I have and the Club do not want to know ! Very disheartening experience which I would not recommend.

I gave up full membership at my club 18 months ago as I wasn't getting value for money but took a look at PlayMoreGolf once I realised the club was adopting it. I signed up and went to book at a local club but there were problems in doing so; I contacted PlayMoreGolf who looked into the issue who sent me a detailed email explaining the situation and a follow up email providing a solution. Great service, thank you. I'm looking forward to using my points at my club and elsewhere.

Looked at the play more golf £350 flexibility membership and decided it wasn’t for us but after a call from Torin who went in to the offer in-depth and explaining clearly how it works it sounded perfect then he spoke to the rest our group We all signed up looking forward to teeing off now at less than £14 a round instead of £25 cheers Torin 5 star

On behalf of our 4 ball that enjoyed a game at Whistand bay on the Sunday gone, the course was playing brilliant, we wanted to just compliment PlayMore and in particular Lisa who managed to deal with our queries with ease. Whilst openly not understanding why our home Club could not adapt a simple flexible membership to retain membership "in house", PlayMore is simply a great package, value for money, and yes whilst App based still has the ability to interact when one gets a little confused. I/we cannot compliment the sercice and offering enough

Great way to play golf at top courses Brilliant way to play with friends as well

The booking link on Play More Golf does not work with st Ives (Hunts) Golf course. So I need to call the course everytime I want to book a tee time. Also there is an additional £19 fee payable to St Ives golf course, which was not mentioned, plus a members application process.

Explained how it all worked and sent me interesting links which helped make up mine and a friend’s mind that this was the right golf membership for us. There was no pressure to buy, but the promotion we got was very handy and the buddy referral points system is a great way to build up your points. Have downloaded the app and it’s incredibly easy to book a round for you and your PMG buddy. Very impressed indeed!

I was looking to join a golf club where I could play as and when I could. Came across Play More Goff. Easy to join via the Website. Book whenever I want to play via Chronogolf. Never had any problems. The day I joined the club I wanted to got a email from the Club Pro to go and see the club and he explained all I needed to know. Great discount for my guests. I now play twice a week and sometimes at weekends without any problem of getting a tee off time

tried to sign up and contacted them via their chat online. Kevin came onto the chat but couldn't be bothered to answer any of my questions so I left after having not had any replies. I wont be joining if they cannot even get past this stage

I would recommend PlayMoreGolf for the obvious reason of flexibility in a golf membership but also for their support and customer service. Queries have always been answered quickly.

This is a brilliant scheme for golfers who cannot play as often as they like. The service and support from the company is exceptional especially from Al who I have dealt with since joining in 2019
