Puppy Shack: Anne & Lenora are the best when it comes to pet sitting! They treat your animal like their own. I am so thankful to have found them. My little guy, McQueen, has been left in their care twice now and he was treated like family. I cannot give enough stars and praise for these two people. They are wonderful!

Our pup stayed a little over a week with Wine and had a great time! We got lots of updates while we were away, and our dog came back happy and healthy. We would definitely have her stay with Wine again.

My dog loved being at the sitters while we moved. She stayed two days, and on the second day when I dropped her off, she didn't even look back to say goodbye. I think that's the best recommendation anyone can get.

Our family wanted to go out of town overnight for our daughters bday but have had bad luck with neighborhood kids checking on our dogs and hate not being able to pick them up on Sundays from boarding when we get home. DogVacay was great. We met an awesome dog sitter in our neighborhood who is affordable and flexible. We received updates and pictures the whole time and they got to stay in a home instead of a kennel.

Used this site on a recommendation from someone on the Nextdoor.com site that I use all the time. I got in a bind when the place we normally board our aging yorkies was booked up because we called at the last minute, not knowing we needed to head out of town. Found a beautiful family here in our neighborhood that takes such good care of them. DogVacay works so well because the hosts usually want to have a 'meet n greet' to make sure they are a good fit to your pet and I can tell you that was so comforting to just visit with the host and meet her kids. She always sends photos of their days there usually snuggling with one of their family members. It's a comfort to have such a great place for them to go in their later years. I HIGHLY recommend you trying it and find a host that 'fits' your pet!

I have found my permanent dog sitter through Dog Vacay!

After finally get our first home, the next logical step was a puppy. We both like to travel though and watching a puppy isn't always something you feel comfortable springing on your friends. I was super cautious at first and wasn't sure how I felt about using a site for dog sitting/boarding, but the thought of my maltese being in a kennel with a bunch a larger dogs, lots of noise and lights...ugh, it just made me feel like a horrible "mommy" to him. I finally gave it a try when I couldn't secure someone for a week trip we were taking. Our Dog Sitter and her family were so loving and attentive that I stopped worrying after day 2 and just relaxed. We received multiple daily updates, pictures and videos. It's personal attention instead of just another number at a loud kennel. He could sleep on the couch and be in a warm, safe home. I will use their service again in a heartbeat. I'm sure it came at a bigger price tag, but the reassurance of all the things I mentioned made it worth it.

We have had nothing but wonderful, loving and great folks take care of our animals. Never a problem!

Christopher was great! We were nervous as this is our first time leaving Dyson with someone other than familay but Christopher treated Dyson like his own. He sent us pictures and videos and responded quickly whenever we checked in. Dyson had a great time and we were less worried know he was taken care of. I definitely plan to use him again whenever I need a someone to take care of Dyson. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a loving, caring, and responsible person to dogs it their four legged babies.

Love this concept and very pleased with host, however, it does not seem quite right to me to charge the full fee of a reservation for a week in July, when I place the reservation in March.

We've had nothing but great experiences with DogVacay - it's like airbnb for dogs but friendlier. Through their listings and reviews, we've been able to find and easily connect with kind, reliable people who've hosted and cared for our dog in their own homes. The people monitoring seem very responsive. What a great app!

DogVacay turned out to be a much better option for my rescue dog AND was about 25% cheaper. A win win!

This is the second time I have used DogVacay and for the second time we had a fabulous experience. Haley was totally wonderful--made our drop off and pick up easy, was super flexible with respect to our schedule, and gave our older and somewhat skittish and shy older dog a warm and welcoming home for the weekend.

I'm glad that I found this app very easy to find a dog sitter even at the last minute. My dog was happy that he was with other dogs and someone was with him when I go away.

Eileen and her husband are true dog masters, they were able to take care of my Pitbull to a point my dog would rather spend his whole life with them. (Maybe because Eileen fed him only but chicken breast reserved only for her own pet, she graciously shared her supply with my pet whole-heartedly.

DogVacay is an awesome app that gives me peace of mind with my pups!! I found a great sitter that I can leave my babies with and don't have to worry!!!
