I love my dog more than anything in the world, so leaving her when we have to go away has always been a stressful thing. DogVacay has made the prospect so much less stressful, and through DogVacay we have found a couple of amazing sitters who have taken such good care of my little one. DogVacay is convenient, easy to use, and has a wonderful range of sitters. I would recommend DogVacay to anyone who loves their dog.

Our dog is used to being around people all the time and a kennel does not work at all for him. If it weren't for DogVacay and people opening up their homes to provide lodging and companionship for our dog, I don't think we'd be able to get away. We have a large Alaskan Malamute and a cage, even a large one, is just not an option. I especially like the fact that you can chat with potential sitters on the site and then have a meet and greet session to see if everyone is compatible. It certainly puts your mind to rest before you take a trip and that you are leaving a member of your dog family with someone you feel comfortable with and whom your dog also is ease. We are very pleased with DogVacay and have had very good experiences with sitters.

We used this for the first time last month for our out of town wedding. We had never left our dogs with any non-family members so we were a little nervous. Our sitter offered to come by and meet them first which was great and that made us fell a lot more at ease. She texted us pics and updates throughout the time we were gone and even cleaned up after herself which was awesome to come home to! We are moving this month and will definitely continue to use this service.

I have had very good experiences with DogVacay. Just moved across country recently and found a very good sitter for my dog who is used to going to doggy daycare frequently to play with other puppies

We have used dogvacay several times now and with several different sitters and boarders. The website is very easy to navigate and quick to respond! We continue to use dogvacay 5 days a week for daycare and love it!

Good dog sitting, but I can not opt out of emails. Now I regularly get emails that I do not want and have taken steps to no longer receive. They are now spam. This review came as spam. I will attempt to unsubscribe again. If it wasn't for the spam, it would have been 5 stars. Allow people to opt out. Fix the service. Pressing the Unsubscribe button on the emails does not work. I have tried with every single one of them. Now I have to make a phone call... unacceptable.

Cindy, our dog sitter is the most amazing sitter and person I have ever met. She is very considerate in letting me know how Athena is doing on a daily basis and gets great care of her as well. Would not want any other sitter to watch my dog.

We have a 65 lb dog. My experience is it can be tough to find a sitter out of the directory, but those that respond to decline are polite about it. When it has worked out, it has been a variety of positive experience. People can be different, but we have a love of dogs in common. I don't hesitate to use DogVacay next time we need a sitter.

We had never heard of DogVacay until we used google to locate a kennel for our golden retriever to stay in while we were out of the country. We came upon DogVacay and chose John for our beloved golden to stay with while we were in Aruba for a week. She loved being there and we weren't sure she wanted to leave. We will definitely use them again for our next vacay. They also do it just for the day which we may take advantage of so our pet can get some socialization and play time in with the other dogs. This was definitely a GREAT experience and the daily pictures were awesome.
