United States | 03 January 2017I felt taking a printed page/ photo copy to a store or restaurant with Bar Code and instructions might be problematic. Never once. Handled like any credit card. Balances go on to a store issued hard card or on returned paper copy (once). Try it. No losses and used quite a bit.

United States | 20 December 2016I bought a $25 electronic gift card to AMC Theaters. We tried to use it at the theatre and they told us it had no money on it. They even gave us the balance check printout to show the card number and $0 balance. I have now tried to contact Gift Card Spread twice over the past 4 days and have received NO response, so I'm out the cost of the card. I've had a few good transactions, but I guess my luck ran out. If you ever have a problem with a card that you've bought with Gift Card Spread, you're out of luck I guess.

United States | 20 December 2016the ebay gift card they sold was still tied to another person's account, which i found out at the time i was checking out. basically i couldn't use the card. hift card spread did their investigation, which took about 3 days, in the end they refundee me, however they shorted my refund by &0.01. I WANT MY $0.01 back. crappy experience and you're taking my money.

After being away I come back to find they have opened up disputes totaling over $600 saying they never received products etc. I sold them digital gift cards and they know this. Because I was away I missed the dispute deadline and now they have taken the money which I needed for xmas. I am now seeking legal advice.

Called customer assistance, put in queue then call dropped twice. Time wasted, over an hour. Emailed GCS, answered next day; they apologized for slight delay. Responded by asking what they considered a long delay. Its been five days with no further explanation from them. I thought I was being harsh until I saw their 1.2 out of 5 average rating.
