New Zealand | 15 March 2024I struggled with my previous insurer who hadn't registered the modifications I had made to my vehicle in a phone call the previous year. When I phoned to rectify this, I was given bad service and offered ridiculous premiums and a 25% write down for theft. Star's representative knew what I was talking about and the premium was fair. A little more than I used to pay but at least I am covered, without silly conditions.

As a member of a driving/Road safety charity I had been recommended to Star. Quote was half the price of my insurer and for same or better cover. Very easy to set up.

Probably would not have changed the excess had I known the full price before-hand
