The food is tasty and still arrives hot, classic & beautiful, could not and have not found a fault, delivery is speedy and it’s an all round absolute wonder

Following my last review from my previous Pasta Evangalist order when everything arrived minus the Pasta!!! I did hear from the team with an apology and a £10 credit on my account. I placed an order for delivery yesterday, Pasta bread and desserts for 4 people (2 double portions) which arrived. On opening my box I was excited for see that this time, they had, included the Pasta, and the bread …..but to my dismay …. No desserts!! I promptly called Pasta Evangalist who again apologised and offered to resend the desserts next day delivery!! Not much use for my Friday dinner plan!! Anyway had time to head to M&S for their Tiramisu. It’s not over yet as when we opened the boxes that evening to cook our lovely Pasta Lobster, Crab & Prawn Tortelloni with Tarragon Butter and Fresh Samphire…….. the Tarragon Butter was missing!! Not pleased as this was an expensive choice at £19.30! Firstly, hard to believe that this could happen twice, missing products! As their email after the first missing Pasta “ We do have strict packing procedures that minimise the opportunity for missing items. Although rare, human error can sometimes occur and unfortunately, it looks as though your order was affected and this is simply not part of the service that we provide.” Secondly, I have now cancelled my subscription. So disappointed as their Pasta was really good! I have to add that since my review I was contacted by Pasta Evangelists to resolve the issue which was most helpful. I advised them I thought they needed to look at their packaging department to see why items were missing which they assured they would do. They also went above and beyond with sending me a pasta kit and recipes book which is all amazing and I will be giving them another chance to prove themselves as I know the Pasta is amazing as well as the Tiramisu.

Complete subscription scam, I had no idea that buying what I thought was a one off pasta meal for Valentine’s Day would end up making me out of pocket in the following months. I had apparently been signed up to a pasta plan, last month they had apparently attempted to send me more unsuccessfully and I was still charged, today I came home to more pasta which I was charged £20 for! Mark from customer services was so incredibly rude, condescending and unhelpful. The lady who I spoke to on the phone was much nicer and way more helpful, although I could not be refunded for this month, I was refunded for the order that I did not receive last month. Still not great and reading other reviews I’m not the only one. Make it clearer to your customers that you auto sign them up to plans that are nearly impossible to cancel, and sort out some of your customer service agent’s attitudes, because of that experience I will never return. We’re all humans trying to get by and naturally people will be upset if their hard earned money is being taken from their accounts!

My carbonara was stodgy, dry and sticky and way too salty. I suspect they added pecorino cheese to the dish even though the description does not mention it so I ordered some as an extra, whatever the reason, it was too overpowering. I also ordered spaghetti but received Linguine instead. Would not order it again and could not finish the dish. The focaccia was lovely, light and flavoursome, only downside it was a tiny portion, definitely not what is portrayed in the picture and definitely not worth the price (thankfully it was free, because at £3.75 I would have asked for a refund).

Absolutely delicious - restaurant grade and home made grade all wrapped up into a delivery bundle of joy - a perfect combination of sumptuous luxury and natural hearty flavour packed ingredients. We tried 4 different main courses, bread and desert - all were 5* and customer service were friendly, fast and logical when it came to sorting out any of the usual eCommerce communication and logistics. The ice packs provided meant we could get a large box delivered to work and then take home at the end of the day still fresh. So good we bought the cookery book (which may mean we order a bit less now, sorry ;-) which makes a great gift for a pasta lover and cook looking for new creative tips… wonderful photography too. Bravo!

Absolutely wonderful! Chef Roberta is a genuine star and kept us all entertained for 2 hours. It was fantastic to learn to make hand made tagliatelle and it was so delicious too. Highly recommend.

My first order with PE & certainly did not disappoint! The courier didn’t deliver my order claiming they couldn’t find the address & other excuses, But got in touch with PE & they handled it brilliantly. They dispatched another duplicate order & sent it with a different courier & my order arrived next day! We ordered 4 different flavors & they were delicious, taste really authentic, restaurant quality. Friday nights will be pasta night, and a dining in is the new going out for us. We live in rural Wales & we don’t have many good quality restaurants near by. So this is a very good substitute!! And the customer care team were brilliant, especially Ivory. Thank you

Lovely food and when there was a problem with one of the items ordered being missing, the company were so friendly and helpful and sorted it out immediately. Really felt like that they go the extra mile for their customers.

So far Customer Services Updated: After my original review (24/03/23), Pasta Evangelists reached out to me and were kind enough to send me a link to choose from their current weeks menu (27 March-2 April) Recipe Kits,and to select 2 single portion dishes and a dessert of my choice which will be delivered to my address. However I am on a 3 weeks strict detox (27 March-16 April) and will only be able to go back to normal eating on 17 April. Therefore, I have sent an email to Customer Services on 28/03/23, asking if they could extend their offer to the week 17-23 April ,and awaiting the response. I look forward to hearing from Customer Services soon. Attie

Pasta evangelists never disappoint me and my famlily are regular customers and they always provide to perfection

I rec’d a gift voucher and registered on the site to order food. Spent over 30 minutes just trying to find where I needed to insert my voucher code. The voucher directed me to my account & advised me to click on ‘store credits’ which didn’t appear on my account details. Then tried ordering food instead as thought I may be able to add in checkout , it forced me to order on a weekly basis & said I could cancel anytime, checked cancellation policy which was really difficult to do & advised needed to phone to cancel. Then gave up !! Really difficult website to navigate & cancel if only needed one off delivery

I know multiple people who have been unable to cancel their subscription. The company give you no warning that your subscription is continuing, until 48 hours before a delivery, they take your money and deliver some sub standard pasta to your door. They don't offer refunds either. They make it so deliberately hard to cancel your subsciption, which is likely how the company is still running. Disappointing service.

After an hour and a half of waiting, we phoned to see where our order was. Found out they cancelled our order because of a ‘technical glitch’. We received no communication. And the kitchen was shut at 8.40 when I spoke to customer services so they wouldn’t accept a new order. Very disappointing. ***update*** customer services reached out and explained what had happened, and sent us complimentary pasta kits in compensation. The Fresh Basil Pesto Lasagne was phenomenal, and the Rigatoni with Tomato & Mascarpone was very tasty too. I will definitely order again. Thank you Trudie.

Discovered Pasta Evangelists while watching an old episode of Dragons Den. I’m a bit of a pasta enthusiast and I know had I been a dragon I’d have been throwing my money at them. We ordered a couple of meals to try and we were so impressed! Excellent fast service and the food was incredible. More fool you Dragons for turning these guys down! We will for certain be ordering again.

Pretty good option for Deliveroo, but no calorie information. Is this not a legal requirement now?

I've had nothing but good experiences. The food quality is amazing, packaging is lovely and instructions clear. I have had a few times due to mail strikes orders weren't delivered in appropriate time at all but these were handled so well.

It is disgraceful that Pasta Evangelists lock customers so deliberately in to a continued subscription. Despite multiple attempts, the only option is 'Pause'. This wilful attempt to block customer exit is plain wrong.

We did the beginners course which was very enjoyable couple of hours learning to make pasta shapes and drinking Prosecco. The course was simple enough to follow and get to eat what you made at the end of it. (Did I mention the Prosecco?)

Amazing! Love it! Tastiest pasta I’ve ever had! And soooo easy!!! The tiramisu also is to die for!!

I was really excited when I received my box as it looked like the treat I imagined . Unfortunately as I took out the contents I was extremely disappointed.. the sauce packs looked so unappetising and very little texture .. looked like tinned soup ... I ordered :- *Reginette with Beef Shin & Barolo Wine *Sicily's Famous Fennel Sausage Sauce with Rigatoni *Baked Zucchini, Kale & Spinach with Ricotta and Lemon Zest I could not see any meat or sausage in the sauces at all and so bland and very small amount of sauce which made the pasta dish really dry. The baked zucchini was a cheap ready meal looking dish and tasted like a cheap ready meal dish ! The pasta itself was just ok but I have had better fresh pasta from the supermarket . Definitely not not not worth the cost, time or effort! The dishes were not worth the calories either (quite high for the amount of food) and I disposed of all the products .., It was not a good experience at all . You would be better off cooking a nice bolognaise (Ragu) at home like the Italians do as would be more nutritious and a better experience , would be more cost effective and way more satisfying .. never again !
