Had a great time learning how to make fresh pasta with Tommaso and the team well worth the money. Probably drank too much Prosecco too. Great experience. Loved it!

Really delicious pasta. Lovely treat as a night off cooking! On top of that, customer service is top notch! On the odd occasion when I have missed the cut off for choosing recipes they have bent over backwards to help (unlike other food/recipe delivery companies). Mae was particularly helpful and pleasant during my last encounter with customer services. Highly recommended.

Ordered via Deliveroo and food was terrible. Carbonara had no sauce and pasta had congealed into a block. Really below expectation.

My wife and I received a lovely gift from our son and daughter-in-law 18 months ago - a voucher for Pasta Evangelists. That was the start of our very positive link with the company - and we have enjoyed many lovely authentic pasta meals since that time with our regular deliveries once a month. Occasionally we have a few meals in the freezer (once defrosted they are great and no different in taste from the fresh deliveries) and last week I inadvertently missed the pre-delivery email that is always sent. This meant that on the day just before the scheduled delivery the payment was taken and the items (almost) sent on their way.... Oh dear - we already had 3 in the freezer and I had intended to cancel the delivery - so I emailed the company and a lovely lady called Vera responded very quickly by first cancelling the imminent delivery, refunding the payment and advising that the pre-delivery email had been sent at the correct time. I checked and it appeared that I'd inadvertently deleted it along with the many other "spam"-like emails that I receive each day. However I had an excuse: on the day in question my wife and I were looking after four of our grandkids - ranging in age from 1 to 7. To describe the day as "full on" is understating it a little.... and goes some way to explain my over-enthusiastic use of the DELETE button. Well the morals of this story are clear..... 1. Take care when deleting emails 2. Don't build up too much stock in the freezer 3. Have Vera as the contact person at Pasta Evangelists 4. Enjoy their lovely meals 5. Enjoy the grandkids while you can!

This was a present for my niece and her boyfriend. They loved the class, thought the detail was great and the teacher was great fun. The Prosecco and anti pasti was wonderful introduction and they enjoyed the pasta that they cooked too. They both said one of the best experiences they have done and would recommend. Thank you from us all.

I had a problem adding a gift voucher to my account. I emailed the company and within 24 hours I had received not only a response and the voucher credited to my account but also an apology. Great service!

THE BEST PASTA AROUND! Always order the carbonara and the truffle Mac&cheese and I can say it’s spot on everytime! So happy we can order at home. Would definitely recommend to anybody! The portion sizes are massive and that not even a large portion! Defo order from here😍

Firstly the pasta is THE BEST of any delivery food prep boxes. So easy to follow and the choices are amazing. Not only is their pasta second to nine, their customer service is exceptional!!

Not my first experience, and never for a single bite even disappointed in the past. Today I have decided to order the Amatriciana which I chose with homemade rigatoni. Eating a large portion of Amatriciana on a white plate… left almost 0 traces on the plate. Don’t get me wrong, if you love a pretty spicy pasta dish with guanciale. The actual sauce was little to nothing. So little some chefs would call it a “garnish” for the rigatoni, or ravioli.. or rigatoni? Ravioli? Yes, rigatoni! But cooked until they ”evolve” into naked ravioli.. I’m just sorry I can’t upload the picture. Please review the recipe, or at least its name.. Secondly, I promise to be the last.. I’ve ordered your plain focaccia with Olive oil and Balsamic Vinegar. It’s utterly mind blowing how one can put in the delivery bag the olive oil and the balsamico….. but not the focaccia. I hope you laugh as well when you read this. Or maybe you though I was the gluten free side of the customer?!

I have had several deliveries from PE and they’ve always arrived on time. I always have veggie dishes and they are very tasty, especially Pappardelle with a Wild Mushroom Sauce and Rigatoni with a Datterini Tomato & Mascarpone Sauce. Great communication too. No issues for me.

Me and my partner went on a pasta master class with Roberta, and it turned to be a great date night. Roberta is a very enthusiastic, charming and funny chef who taught us step by step how to make pasta. Super fun experience, and a great dinner:)

Updated: So after the original review, Pasta Evangelists reached out to me and were kind enough to send me a complimentary recipe kit for dinner for 2 people to cook at home, which I have reviewed below, with my original review preserved at the bottom. I would like to say I highly admire their commitment to good customer service. I didn't leave a review in the hopes of getting anything from them, I just wanted to honestly share my experience. That they care this much about how a customer feels about their service is amazing and exceptional. For the home delivery, we had 1x Nduja Fettuccine, 1x Carbonara and 2x Profiteroles. Instructions on the back of each of the two recipe packs were very easy to follow and it only took about six minutes to cook and prepare each dish. My partner and I shared both between us. The bucatini and fettuccine were both very fresh, you can really taste the difference between those pastas and the dry pasta commonly bought in supermarkets. The pancetta with the carbonara was just the right amount for the portion size, crisped up well in the frying pan and had a good salty flavour. The carbonara sauce was really excellent, with the right balance of seasoned flavour and smooth, silky texture. I did add a little freshly ground black pepper on top to serve, otherwise I wouldn't change a thing. Likewise the Nduja sauce was very flavoursome, with decent chunks of the Nduja sausage and just a little bit of a spicy kick. Fresh, vibrant and tasted great. The fettuccine pasta to go with it came out perfectly from the cooking instructions and was the perfect pasta to complement the sauce. Profiteroles were probably the stand-out in terms of being both very good portion sizes and what I would describe as real restaurant quality desserts. We enjoyed those immensely. In particular the chocolate sauce was delicious, rich and plentiful. The food was very good overall, I'd say definitely a much better experience in terms of food quality than we had with the Deliveroo order and there's no doubt about the high quality of the ingredients or that the recipes which go into the sauces have been well thought out and skilfully prepared. Overall, I feel the only thing I can criticise is that the single portion sizes are a bit too small to be an adult's main meal. If the single portion sizes were just a little bit bigger for the normal price, I would be tempted to keep up a regular subscription. Original review (3 stars): Ordered from Deliveroo. I had the beef shin ragu with "ruffled ribbon" pasta. It wasn't terrible, but there was too little ragu sauce (and what was there was quite dry) for the amount of pasta. Further, the pasta itself was a bit undercooked and the taste and texture were stale - not fresh al dente, but rather like it had been cooked a few hours earlier and kept warm or something. I had thought based on hearsay Pasta Evangelists was meant to be a fancy, higher end of the market "restaurant quality at home" type of thing, but to me the food was more Bella Italia than a taste of Rome. Not awful but I wouldn't order again.

First order arrived. Horrendous amount of packaging for such a small amount of food. Mostly recyclable but it filled half my bin! Beef ragu was like corned beef, dry and tasteless. Cancelled my subscription immediately.

I have always had enjoyable and tasty pasta dishes from Pasta Evangelists, delivered on time and a nice treat without the effort of your own preparation! The customer service from them is always friendly, polite and helpful. On my last order, unfortunately an automatic order went through without me realising but they kindly amended the order for a dish I wanted and refunded me the price difference. Vera is particular helped with this query and her assistance was much appreciated, thank you.

Do not recommend any of their truffle dishes. They don’t use actual truffles but rather flavour additives. I would say they are average nothing exceptional.
