I ordered many times and many different types of pasta ! I’m Italian and a good chef too . The ragù is watery and has nearly no meet at all ! The taste is decent but you can’t make your money giving customers who pay so much money only the smell of your ragù !! Also stop putting too much water to make the sauce more and be used for more plates , because it can work for who doesn’t know the real Italian food but not for who is Italian and knows how to cook ! This is valid for the mushroom tagliatelle too and all other pastas which have anything in it . That means there were almost no mushrooms in the pasta ! Chef Roberta recommends ….. but she needs to take care of her customers much better than this . And I’m sure this review will be useful and I’ll still buy from them and give more chances to improve ( I use uber eat a lot ). But improve fast as it’s easy to lose a customer even easier to lose more than one ! Said that I’d love to read a response to this review very soon . Saving money making the food less tasty does not save your reputation , don’t forget it ! Take care and I’m looking forward to read the response and see your real actions after reading this . Excellent pasta dishes that are authentic. The Mac and cheese is superb 😋

Pasta in most cases/ recipes excellent quality but often the identifyiing ingredient if description short in amiunt used and in 90% of recipes tried quantity insufficient for price charged Orders 28Aug and 25Sep. SeaBass pasta of Aug delivery short of fish and herbs. Only 1 of all choices Aug and Sep weighed more than 750gm which consider sufficient for 2 normal servings. At half price that one cost acceptable BUT at full price for my orders would only expect to pay that in a restaurant whete presented and cooked for us and served with side salad or garlic bread

Pasta Evangelists is amazing! They have a great variety of recipes to choose from, and they are extremely easy to prepare. Unlike those “box” recipes that send you all the raw ingredients etc, they send everything almost ready - just cook the pasta and heat/mix the sauce or whatever comes with the recipe. Recently in my last order, one of the recipes came with the sauce missing - the person responsible for putting the order together just forgot, as it can happen to anyone. I contacted support and Llue dealt with my case. It was absolutely quick and they added a credit in my account as a form of apologies. That said, recipes are great - and customer support is equally great. Try it and you won’t regret it!

Being a member of HelloFresh and Gousto, I decided to try Pasta Evangelists. As an alternative, it is very good. Tasty sauces (already made instead of having to make them yourself) and nothing really beats fresh made pasta. The pro's are that you can freeze everything on the day your parcel arrives and even get portions for single dinners (which the other two food suppliers can't). So it is time saving and, very simple to prepare, and not much washing up. The packaging is good and nothing seems to get damaged and every meal is separate. No fussing, just put it away. There are a couple of con's which may not deter you, but I found I had to add crusty bread to my dishes to fill me up. The single portions of pasta and separate sauce are good, but when it came to the precooked lasagne in a tray, I could have done with a few spoons more! The sauces are all made with cooked and shredded meat and I have to say that the taste is excellent, but the meat content is a bit on the mean side. Overall? My opinion is that the meals are very good as per the pro's above, but a bit overpriced due to the con's.

The food tastes great. I have been in contact with 2 members of customer support (Vera and Joyce) and they have both been very quick to help out with whatever needed done. Both involved separate delivery problems with Royal Mail, so I didn't have any problems with Pasta Evangelists directly. There was a problem with a late delivery, which means the fresh pasta would have been unsafe to eat as the ice packs wouldn't have lasted that long. This meant that in the end I was sent the full order again for free with an extra portion of one of the items I ordered. I like that the company was proactive in sending out the messages to me with regards to customer support, it made it very easy to communicate back to them what had happened. The only real criticisms I have are the price and the way of ordering. The normal price is higher than I would like to spend, but the first 2 orders are half price (up to £15) which made it reasonable. I also don't like the way that you have to order with a subscription service instead of being able to simply order a couple of times whenever suits me and be done with it. The website UI makes it very awkward to reschedule a future delivery as well.

Brilliant way to spend an afternoon, learning to make pasta…. With the help of some Prosecco. Chef Roberta is awesome!

Excellent and very tasty pasta dishes and so very easy to prepare, even if you freeze to eat at a later date. Instructions very clear.

Great food, good sized portion and at exceptional value.

Lovely dishes - makes for a great treat on a Friday night after work, when no one feels like cooking. Feels like eating restaurant food in your own kitchen. The quality is excellent and the customer service also.
