I just recently found Taylor Security and Lock. My regular supplier was on back order / special order for the specific strike I required, which led me to broaden my search. TS&L had the strike per their website and a quick phone call later they confirmed they had two of them. Great overall experience. My only pain point is that the site description did not indicate that the 12/24vdc pigtails were in fact in the box with the strike, but they recommended buying them separately. I confirmed this with the phone rep. The pigtails were, indeed, in the box resulting in an unnecessary up sale. That said, the total was still nearly $80 less than my regular supplier. Overall, a great experience. The item shipped and arrived in the window specified and all is well. I have booked marked them and plan on continuing to use them in the future.

Making changes to an old condo unit and discovered that the metal door frames used a 2-3/4" T-strike plate. This did not work with standard plates that came with the new knobs. We did a quick online search and found them in stock and well priced at Taylor Security. Easy online ordering, well packaged and timely shipping. Had them in hand and installed within a week, even during the holiday season.

I placed an order on November 26, 2022, at 11:16am, for four doorknobs listed on their site as "same-day shipping on orders placed before 3pm". I emailed a few days later to discern their whereabouts since Taylor Security is in Northvale, NJ, and I'm in Brooklyn, NY. Sales Development Associate John informed me they needed a 3-4 week lead time, despite their web site boasting sam-day shipping. On 12/12, I reached out to follow-up on the order and the response I received was: "It shows 12/16 as the expected ship date" without any clarification or empathy. on 12/19, I reached out to follow-up on the order again and the response was that the shipping date changed to 12/29. On 12/29 I requested a tracking number, but received no response. On January 2, 2023, I re-requested the tracking number and received the cold reply: "It now shows 1/10, when it does ship you’ll be emailed the tracking number." I still have not receive the four door knobs I ordered last year.

I had originally ordered a Right Handed lock. So when I asked to change the order to a left handed lock, I was afraid it would be problematic but the change was made quickly and smoothly

This company doesn't seem to want to do. Business except with other *large* companies. Ordered two lock sets from them via the website, got an email the next day asking for legal documentation of *my* information (despite it being an approved CC ship address), and after multiple email exchanges and their refusal to just call me to work out their issue, they cancelled the order. Will use UHS hardware from now on instead, don't bother with Taylor

I needed specific hardware for an artistic project and Taylor Lock was able to provide these items. I requested a black finish and received my special order within a month. Kudos to T&S ! I also received a complimentary coffee mug and a free hat ! Very satisfied with my products.
