United Kingdom | 10 March 2020Weaseled out of any contemplation of a claim following total travel ban in Italy. Apparently the Italian gov't decision to quarantine the whole nation isn't one of the specified policy conditions for cancellation nor force majeur. Waste of money and thankfully I was within the cooling off period to cancel the annual policy and obtain a full refund. Please don't suggest "popping an email" to you for you to investigate ... judging by other claimants' experiences (rather than purchasers' satisfaction on buying a policy) that are recited on this site this is a reasonably common result once a claim looks likely ... and that's what counts in insurance ... claims paid.
