Je paye 100 euros pour un mois. J'ai du aller au docteur a l'étranger mais aucun remboursement je reçois un mail me demandant depuis quand je suis malade les sympthome jusqu'a quand je dois etre prise en charge etc etc Jusque la tout vas bien mais on me demande des papiers justifiants depuis quand je suis malade ? Je ne comprend pas Prevoyer vous d'être malade ? Un mail totalement abérant avec une liste de 10 documents a transmettre alors que je simplement aller au docteur la facture ne suffit-elle pas? Elle est pourtant bien a mon nom et tout y est present ainsi que le nom du docteur et le lieu. Bref NE PAS DEPENSER POUR RIEN vos SOUS!!! Je deconseille totalement a moins que vois prévoyer d'etre malade et que vous en parler au docteur pour qu'il puisse vous donner les dates de votre prochaine maladie sur papier. Extrèmenent déçevant et très dommage que je ne puisse pas partager le mail que vous m'avez envoyer pour une simple consultation. Argent perdu

This company has taken money from our bank without our permission, we are not even a customer of theirs! When we spoke to them they said it is down to us to sort it out. Complete fraud!! We will now notify the Police as the bank said there is nothing they can do. AVOID

I have been with April international in the UK for 2 or 3 years now and they are simply the best private health insurance provider by far! They are extremely efficient, friendly and extremely professional at the same time. Every claim made April International will responses in less then 24h and they process is extremely straight forward! I am extremely happy with them and feel in good hands. Thanks to the April International team in London and espcailly to Anne Marie.

Ich war von 2013 bis 2019 bei der April versichert. Zu dem Zeitpunkt war ich 69 jährig. In diesen 6 Jahren habe ich die Krankenversicherung nie in Anspruch genommen. 2019 musste ich aus familiären Gründen nach Spanien. Ich hatte vorher die Versicherung gefragt, ob die Krankenversicherung in Spanien akzeptiert wird und ob sie Klienten in Spanien haben. Somit könnten sie mir mitteilen welche Privatklinik die April akzeptiert. Ich bekam absolut keine hilfreiche Antwort. Ich begann selbst zu recherchieren, leider ohne Erfolg. Ich musste die April kündigen und eine spanische Krankenversicherung abschließen. Ich habe für die private Versicherung 176 monatlich bezahlt im Alter von 75 J. Die private Krankenversicherung hat alles ohne Probleme abgedeckt. Alle Impfungen, jährliche Kontrolluntersuchungen und vieles mehr. Nach 2 Jahren musste ich zurück nach Griechenland und mich erneut um eine private Krankenversicherung kümmern, jetzt im Alter von 79 J. OSD in Deutschland bemühte sich darum und fragte bei der April erneut an. Die Antwort von der April war, dass ich zu alt sei. Naja kein Wunder, immerhin haben sie von mir in den 6 Jahren meine Prämien einkassiert ohne Gegenleistung. Vielen Dank April !! Inzwischen war ich bei der privaten CignaGlobal versichert , die leider auch nicht zuverlässig sind. Ich habe Cigna gekündigt, bin jetzt ohne Krankenversicherung und werde das Geld jetzt monatlich auf meiner griechischen Bank sparen. Für 80 Euro im Jahr bekomme ich von der Bank Informationen, bei welchem Arzt, Ärztin, Labor etc. Ich günstige Untersuchungen bekomme. Nie wieder eine private Krankenversicherung. Ich brauche diesen psychischen Druck nicht mehr. Es tut mir leid, wie viele hier diesen psychischen Druck erleiden müssen. Die Probleme ereigneten sich in verschiedenen Zeiträumen. Anfragen an April 2019 bevor bevor ich nach Spanien bin. Anfragen der OSD von Deutschland an April Ende 2021 bevor ich zurück nach Griechenland bin.

I’m not a huge fan of calling customer service because they’re rude and unhelpful most of the time. But I got lucky and got onto the phone with Lily who helped me set everything right. She was so patient, calm and helpful despite my annoyance at how messy the recent migration is. Truly appreciate her helpfulness!! It’s so rare to find someone like her in customer service.

April is helping to solve one of my claim's payment problem right now, seems will be solved very soon. I am so impressed by April's quick response , client focused attitude and is always endeavoring to improve their service to achieve client's satisfaction. Especially Donathan Fung from customer service dept provided very good service , keep tracking my payment , called me and sent emails to me for explanation and notification, which is very impressive.

I have found Tom and his team very responsive to requests for assistance and efficient in the handling of claims. They also showed a high degree of empathy and support when my wife was hospitalised last year by regularly checking with me on her medical condition. Her hospital charges were promptly paid in line with our insurance contract. We are very comfortable remaining with April.

Garbage insurance. Their app never works. The entire process is absolutely annoying. They have provided no benefit to me whatsoever in the last 3 years I have been with them. Couldn't even use them for my medical appointments during Covid, or when I would get sick in general. Their website sucks. Their app sucks. The insurance itself sucks. Waste of money.

I have found their staff to be extremely responsive and helpful when required and their claim process via the portal or mobile app is first class. I have happily recommended them to friends and pleased to hear the same experience feedback as I have had.

When it doesn't cost them any thinking effort, it works, but the minute their staff have to reason for a second and do their job - you're screwed (that is except a single pearl of a human being that tried to help but is stuck in the bureaucracy of it all because he is not in the reimbursement department). I had an upfront agreement of 500 euros and was only reimbursed 344 euros - not very complicated to track. The online platform also confirms I was not reimbursed, even if the documents showed they 'approved the reimbursement and it was sent'. I called countless times, spent hours on hold, wrote very clear emails with the 'décompte de remboursement' numbers, explaining everything, doing the job of the reimbursement department for them - without success. April, you have been a scam, you have made me waste time, money, energy and have gaslit and emotionally distressed me numerous times. As a woman who suffers from a chronic illness (one that on average goes undiagnosed for 7-10 years), I have had to fight for myself against doctors. I do not need to fight about these things with my insurance, which I pay a lot of money for in the first place. I am still owed money (it is November 2022 now) dating back from April and May 2022 - thankfully it is only 156 euros, and not thousands of euros, but in my current situation this is still substantial. Last review I left, I was asked to leave my contact details / contract number. First, there are no options to respond to April's comments on the reviews, so that's a useless request. Second, there is no way I will leave my contract number on a public platform. Please contact me by email instead. April International still owe me thousands of euros in reimbursements - it's a financial disaster for me. I snapped a ligament in my knee over a year ago. They said any invoice over 600€ they'd pay directly, but this is a lie. I've had to cover many of those (and still haven't been reimbursed) including the physio I needed to learn how to walk again. They've offered no appology or help. I've been chasing them for a year to pay invoices and claims, it's a nightmare - I have doctors, hospitals and specialists threatening legal action against me for unpaid bills. April International email or phone support is non-existant - you can't talk to a person and everything is (now) directed to their app. They want you to send claims via their app, but it crashes, the app doens't allow documents to be uploded (only photos) and the app doesn't have the functionality they claim. You get emails requesting new documents to be submitted via the app, but you're not told which documents and there's also no way to add new documents to existing claims. Questions about these issues are not answered. The fact April International are taking time replying to reviews here and not to people's month/year old pending claims of thousands of euros highlights their incompetence.
