The customer service, the claim process, the agility to resolve issues, everything is not what you expect from an insurance company, that usually when you use it is because you are in an urgency. Bad service

J'ai souscrit un contrat April International pour la couverture santé de ma fille qui fait ses etudes à l'étranger. Tres bons pour la colecte des primes. Aux abonnes abrents pour les remboursements. C'est un super business model. Est-ce une vraie assurance ou une arnaque internet. Faut il saisir le médiateur des assurances ou directement la repression des fraude?

Had my first claim submitted thru mobile apps and had some issues uploading the invoice. Joanne from HK office was so kind enough to call and follow up with an email thereafter. Prompt service and trouble shooting. Definitely a very good experience with APRIL as a start and hope this will continue!

The entire APRIL team was very responsive during the entire process of me asking for an LOG on a very complicated bone marrow transplant for my son. They understood that it was a very stressful time, first emotionally dealing with a sick child and secondly having to deal with financial implications of the treatment. At no point were they annoyed or rude; in fact, they were very empathetic during the entire process. Definitely would rank them as an insurer to go with.

I have only got the best to say about April. They’ve reimbursed me for more than I thought would be accepted & were extremely efficient at getting back to me. Best international insurance I have been with! AnneMarie especially has been incredible!

Après 5 demandes infructueuses pour changer le pays de destination pour l'attestation (mon fils est passé du de la Turquie au Japon) par mail au bout de plus d'une heure d'attente au téléphone une personne a enfin corrigé le pays de destination !

Initially I was not happy as the response was slow but April team figured out the matter and accommodated all the needs swiftly and perfectly. Thanks to the great team.

Very responsive customer care. They were able to accommodate also some last minute requests without hiccups. When I needed hospitalisation I could choose the best hospital of my choice and receive the best health care. The refund of my claim was fast enough. So far I'm having a very good experience with April.

Pathetic experience! Policy canceled overnight without any consultation. Never received contact details of the CEO. I would NEVER recommend APRIL to anyone

The representative was polite, thorough, patient. He showed me different health insurance plans so that I could select the one that suits me financially. Excellent customer service.

J’ai souscrit à l’assurance internationale avec April car la partie devis en ligne est bien. Mais pour le reste pour l’instant mon expérience client est negative.Des prélèvements automatiques qui ne sont pas à des dates fixes. On me prélève le 21/06 puis le 05/07. A la souscription et lors des premiers échange avec les services clients on m’informe que je peux choisir entre le 05 ou le 20 de chaque mois. Je demande à être prélevé le 20 car ma période de couverture va du 26 de chaque mois, mais on dit que les prélèvements ne sont possible que le 05… Je n’ai pas eu à faire de réclamations donc je n’ai pas d’avis à ce propos. Par contre après la souscription, très peu d’accompagnement (quid des cartes, réseau de soins…). Bref je suis client depuis moins de 4 mois je ne recommande pas APRIL.

We've been with April International (formerly Medicare International) for more than 20 years, and they have been fantastic. They are always quick to respond, really helpful and very efficient, we have only had good experiences with them. They helped us through two major illnesses which frankly would have been almost impossible to get through without their support, so definitely five stars !

We couldn't be more delighted with April International. Our family is now into its third year of cover with April. Their claims process is efficient and simple to use and refund payments for treatment are always made within a short period of being submitted. Dealing with Anne-Marie and Tom in their UK claims office is a real pleasure! Coverage is also excellent and the other UK based insurers could do no better than to emulate the service offered by April International.
