Ich bewerte hier nicht die Produkte der Firma, sondern den Online Shop von Barbour. Wa für andere Internetversender längst selbstverständlich ist, muss man den Mitarbeitern von Barbour erst langsam erklären. Kurz geschildert: Ware für über 1000 € bestellt und bezahlt. Einige Mitteilungen erhalten das Ware kommt, jedoch nicht erhalten. Nach ein paar Tagen Anruf bei Barbour. Laut DHL hätte jemand mit einem mir unbekannten Namen die Ware erhalten. Nützt mir natürlich nichts. Laut Barbour sollte ich bei DHL anrufen. Wer schon mal mit DHL Erfahrungen gemacht hat sagt da sofort nein. Meine Erklärung dass sich Barbour darum zu kümmern hätte kam bei der Servicedame nicht gut an. Mal schauen wie es weitergeht. Die Ware von Barbour ist ganz ok, aber auch teuer. Besser man kauft die jedoch nicht bei Barbour. Dann gibt es weniger Frust.

I love my new Arctic Parka: it's wind-proof, rain-proof, cosy and robust. It's the fourth Barbour coat I've owned over the last 30 years - one left on a friend's barge 20 years ago; the other's all going strong. However... the zip on this Arctic Parka is a disaster! It takes several attempts to line it up successfully and raise the zip: after minutes spent fumbling with it, I even have to resort to getting my wife to do it for me, like a four year old! I'm really not normally inept and I'm pretty dexterous: it's simply badly designed and shoddy. A let-down of an otherwise fantastic piece of kit.

It saddens me to rate Barbour Customer Service as BAD ! Bought a Beaumont Wax Jacket in a Barbour outlet store however before completing the purchase I enquired if it was a "second". I was assured that it was not and left the shop happy. The jacket did not come with a hood and I thought that I should buy this accessory and made a second purchase through their website. When the hood arrived it could not be fitted to the studding arrangement and at that point contacted Barbour for an explanation. It transpires that I purchased a "RETAIL" jacket which is inferior to the normal Beaumont as it lacks many of the nicer features. The customer service guy did not accept that it was a "second". The price ticket recommended RRP £ 245 which led me to believe I was buying the full featured jacket albeit the garment was substantially reduced in the outlet store. Buy of the week, I thought, but then it appears that, if it seems too good to be true ........ I feel hood-winked and that Barbour are guilty of sharp practice. I am now in the process of returning both jacket and hood to Barbour for a full refund. Barbour should make it clear that two standards exist, if you are interested in the "RETAIL" version it will come in small, medium, large and extra large whereas the fully priced jacket is sold in chest sizes. I feel tricked and the deception only came to light as a result of buying a matching hood.

I love the Barbour brand, and my favourite wax jacket has recently been away for a rewax. I couldn’t be happier with the service. Very quick turnaround and the jacket looks good as new!

I have four barbour jackets and the rest of the family have another five. They are excellent and great value for money. My oldest I bought in 1996 and a few weeks ago the zip broke, this jacket is my old friend and has kept me dry through the worst storms so I didn't want to get rid of it. Barbour offer a service for £30 to put a new zip in and so that's what I did, two weeks later we are up and running again. It doesn't get any greener than that. Who else offers this service??? My latest is a Camo Smock which is a great style. They are a brand which is always exciting to buy from.

I love the barbour brand, however recent purchase was disappointing. The quality of the sticking was not up to scratch and the colour has faded a bit after very little usage. Luckily the retailer involved accepted a return.

The jacket I bought started to feather in 2-3 days and a colour change appeared within a week. I bought the product from the House of Fraser Plymouth. When I took the jacket to the store and showed it to the manager, he told me, the colour change of the fabric was not a fault of the factory and he never ever saw any false with Barbour products. As he saw the colour changing, I asked him to send it to the factory to analyse the causes, but he didn't even accept to do it. THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I never ever saw!

1 star: Barbour lightweight oilskin jacket worn after one year occasional seasonal use. Not satisfactory quality garment 0 stars: Fourfield Sweden (Barbour Scandinavian agent) for arrogantly rejecting repair without even looking at the jacket. 10 stars: Barbour HQ customer service taking the matter seriously, listening to me as a customer and arranging for a repair. Pickup and return in one week. Impressive! Average score: 5,5 stars.

Purchased a pair of Barbour Slippers from Jones shoe shop in Shrewsbury [Not Jones Fault] started wearing them on Christmas Day and they have worn through already !! Never stepped outside with them, and our house is mainly carpets [not hard floors]. They were £29 in the sale reduced from £49 !! so not cheap slippers. Plan to return them today, I have one of their coats which has been great but these slippers are like fake ones purchased from a boot fair or market, AVOID !!

Emma from customer service was very helpful with my questions about sizing and pockets. It would be helpful if the website gave all the information about what inside pockets a jacket has, and how to compare the "Large/Med" sizes with the "42/40/38" sizes - some jackets use one scale, some the other.

After 2 years, popper fell off. Sent back to Barbour first week of Dec. 2 months later- ruined the coat and still awaiting a replacement. I have always had to contact them- rubbish customer service. Just don’t let you know what is going on!

I've only got good things to say about Barbour Customer Services. Very helpful and prompt responses to emails. I've had Barbour quilted and wax jackets for years and they've not needed rewaxing. Their boots and shoes also feel quality made, I've also got their clothes and never had a problem

I purchased a lovely navy quilted jacket recently and arrived within a week. Very good quality jacket,excellent cut and fit.(16) which is my normal size.

Sent my jacket for cleaning and waxing. Arrived within 3 weeks as good as new inside a cloth bag.Very pleased with this service.

I received my Barbour Rosefield Quilted Jacket this morning. It arrived within the delivery window and in time for me to take away tomorrow. Excellent, excellent quality coat. Very pleased. Worth the wait to find something I really like that costs a little more but is all round better quality and design. Thanks

Barbour Bristol Wax Jacket 4257281 This is the worst jacket I have ever bought. I normally spend about half for a jacket and get good quality and long enough sleeves. The Barbour jacket is in L for long but the sleeves are too short. The jacket constantly picks up fluff from other items such as scarves etc. I definitely will not be buying anything made by Barbour again! Overprice and under quality!

I brought BARBOUR SAPPER WAX JACKET just two years ago and of course I only wear it winters and cold days both chest pockets have worn through keep small pack hand tissues in 1 side and 3/4 dog bags in the other The arms on both sides have lots of splits in them where the jacket moves when walking and the jacket cracking when I move out walking it’s a joke of a country jacket I will not buy again or recommend to a friend

I bought a pair of Barbour chukka boots well over 2 and a half years ago, but have barely worn them. Recently, while wearing them, the sole came completely away from the upper. Not great and not what you’d expect. No receipt, no warranty. But I rang Barbour customer service, who asked me to email them details and photos and with 24 hrs, they arranged to replace them with a new pair. Sometimes things do go wrong and how a company deals with issues says a lot. Im very impressed.

11 days of promises that stock for my order has been "assigned" and will ship tomorrow, to finally receive an email advising they have no stock. What's more frustrating is if I return to the website I can still order the same product again, they have not even corrected their website to save other customers this experience. Wish I had checked reviews for their online store before ordering. Dreadful service, even worse attitude, 1 star is flattering the say the least. Will never be ordering or buying Barbour again.
