United Kingdom | 05 December 2022Everyone at Warren Evans really is lovely - from sales to customer service to the delivery team. Having used Warren Evans for my last mattress purchase about six years ago, I felt confident using them again when I needed to upgrade to a larger size this year. And they really delivered. Helpful, friendly advice, transparency about their sustainability credentials and recycling process (something that was very important to me) and smooth delivery. But the thing that really sets them apart is the after-sales support. I didn't bond with my mattress right away and they did everything they could to help me decide if it was the right one for me, including arranging to take it back when I thought it wasn't. Turns out I was being a bit impatient and three weeks in, I absolutely love it. I'm just glad they gave me the time and support to find that out for myself and feel assured I'd made the right decision. I would definitely recommend them - you don't get many retailers who go the extra mile that they do.

United Kingdom | 21 November 2022Really frustrated by the inconsistent pricing. Struggling to justify how a company justifies hiking its prices Tue-Fri to then have a '40% off sale' every weekend. Bought our bed from Warren Evans in 2014 and then a child mattress one year ago. I am absolutely delighted with the mattress so wanted to use Warren Evans to buy an upgrade for our bed but the false sales have put me off completely. The 'sale' price of the mattress I had my eye on has risen by 45% in the last month. Then there is an even higher full price which is advertised in the week. Sadly I will be purchasing elsewhere because I just cannot work out what the value of the product is with crazy pricing. Edit to add: While I appreciate the response, it entirely misses the point. Pricing of raw materials, labour or transport does not fluctuate over the course of a week to justify having a ‘sale’ every weekend. Nor have costs risen by 45% in a one month period. I would have accepted a gradual price increase without hesitation for a quality product as it reflects the current situation. Inconsistent jumping around of prices just means I have no idea of the actual value

United Kingdom | 18 September 2022I bought a bed from Warren Evans 6 years ago and the bed frame has a fault which has caused one of the legs to collapse. I thought that in reading the website as the company had been in business since 1978 and had over 40 years of experience and bedframes were guaranteed for 16years this would not be a problem and Warren Evans would sort out the problem. Unfortunately I was told that they had gone into liquidation 3 years ago and therefore did not have any data from the old business and could not help me. This seems a massive cop out as either they are an established business which should honour customer support or they are a 3 year old business and shouldn’t be marketing themselves with a 40 year history of customer support and satisfaction. As a gesture of goodwill they have offered me a discount of 5% off a new bed - very generous.

United Kingdom | 09 August 2022Overall the Sunday Slim Ottoman bed frame is nice. However, upon delivery, we raised a couple of concerns - namely that the legs were significantly darker wood than the photos on the website and also that the mechanism that opens the bed storage means the bed is open without a mattress on it and can only be held closed with a scre or a safety pin (genuine advice from Warren Evans to use a safety pin on a premium bed). Warren Evans don't seem bothered at all about this and just referred me to the fact that their Terms & Conditions mean they will not refund the delivery fee. I asked for someone to call me and they assured a manager would do so within the next couple of days. This didn't happen. Poor customer service. Update - after a few days of normal use, we noticed the bed was creaking a lot whenever one of us moved on it (neither of us is heavy). Because the WE team were already coming to fit the new legs (eventually!), I asked via email ahead of time if they could fix the creak. I was asked to send a video showing where it was creaking. Upon sending a video, I was asked to send another one at which point I requested the MD/CEO give me a call. This hasn’t happened - all I had was a passive-aggressive email back talking about their need to avoid multiple trips to keep their carbon footprint low. I assume the management at Warren Evans simply don’t give a toss that their customers are getting a poor experience. Really disappointing. I suggest buying elsewhere.

Impeccable service, and really good quality beds. Gul was patience itself, in guiding me towards what I wanted and in assisting with a courier service, due to our urgency of our need. United Kingdom | 13 July 2022The service we got from Warren Evans when buying our mattress was impeccable, and the mattress looked very well made. However within a few weeks both sides were sinking where my husband and I sleep with a big long lump down the middle. Unfortunately from the beginning it felt really hard and instead of sending it back, I foolishly bought a soft topper thinking this would solve the problem and persevered instead of contacting Warren Evans. Unfortunately my sciatic back pain increased and although I have tried a thicker softer topper it’s just not helping. I tried sleeping on the hypnos bed in my spare room to see if that helped my back pain and lo and behold-yes it did. So 11 months after paying £900+ for the Warren Evans mattress I can’t sleep on, I have to scrap it and buy a new hypnos mattress.

I started off thinking I knew what I wanted and made my decisions quickly and easily following a visit to the company's easy-to-navigate and informative website. I was feeling quite thrilled with my decision--especially to be buying a reasonably-priced, high-quality product from a local family-run business. 24 hours later and following a phone conversation with Gul at the end of a hectic day, I came out with a more appropriate bed and mattress, so was doubly-thrilled. All communication and support was first rate from the moment I submitted my late-night enquiry--a sale was about to begin the next day and I didn't want to miss it. Even though it must have been nonstop at the store, Gul and the customer support team couldn't have been more attentive to my needs and situation. This might have been my best and most satisfying internet retail experience ever--five stars!

United Kingdom | 28 December 2021I had a positive experience with Warren Evans although the mattress didn't end up being for me. I ordered the Organic 5000 mattress, which was 'medium firm' but I found it far too firm for me - my weight is around 9 stone and i'm a side sleeper so less firm mattresses are better for me. I also got a bit hot with the wool - I've since found I'm better with hemp/cotton (but this is more of a personal preference). The mattress was very well made and Warren Evans customer service was great. Returning the mattress was very easy. Also, I have a chemical sensitivity and so chemical smells make me feel ill, but I had no problem with this mattress.
