Good service. But the 2 or 3 day pass should allow the payer to return the bike for a night and then in the morning to rent a bike at any place where a bike is free to be rented.

Great that it’s possible to take a bike from children’s taalschool to my college and back so I can add extra physical activity to my routine. With another format of the service I had to take my bike with me everywhere, with the Donkey I can’t wait to try it out in other locations

Ich habe im Juli in Berlin ein Fahrrad für einen Tag gemietet. Alles lief gut, bis ich eine E-Mail bekam, in der stand, dass das Fahrrad gestohlen worden war und ich 180 Euro zahlen sollte, wenn es nicht innerhalb von 30 Tagen gefunden würde. Sie schickten mir eine E-Mail, in der ich die letzte Stelle angab, an der ich das Fahrrad nach der Benutzung abgestellt hatte, und es korrekt parkte. Seitdem haben sich die Gründe für meine Verantwortung geändert: - Ich habe es nicht an der richtigen Stelle abgestellt, denn laut Donkey Republic gibt es Bereiche, in denen man es zurückgeben muss, und ich habe es von einem normalen Radabstellplatz abgeholt. -dass das Schloss nicht angebracht war, was auch nicht stimmt. Das Schlimmste ist, dass sie zugeben, dass die Fahrräder kein GPS haben und nicht wissen können, wo sie sind. Woher wissen sie also, wann es gestohlen wurde? Sie wissen nicht, was passiert ist oder wann, weil sie keine Daten darüber haben, nur die Daten von Nutzern wie mir, was wirklich schade ist, weil sie die Daten, die wir ihnen geben, gegen uns verwenden! Es ist sehr ärgerlich, mit dem Kundendienst zu sprechen, denn die Gründe und Motive ändern sich, obwohl ich als Nutzer nicht für etwas verantwortlich gemacht werden kann, das passiert ist, als ich das Fahrrad weder hatte noch benutzt habe, und ich bin auch nicht verantwortlich, wenn sie nicht einmal wissen, wann das Fahrrad verschwunden ist, weil sie den Standort nicht kennen! Es get weiter: Ich habe per Mail die Antwort bekommen, das Rad hatte kein GPS, daher kann der Aufenthaltsort auf keinen Fall bestätigt werden. Sie nutzen deine Hilfe und deine Aussagen gegen dich. Die 12€ Miete wollen sie jawohl zurücküberweisen, (die Leistung für die ich verantwortlich bin) nicht die 180€ (die gar nicht stimmen) Die aktuelle Ausreden dafür ist, das Schloß war nicht zu. Und das ist eine glatte dreiste Lüge!!

Lots of bikes around. Great rate! Easy to sign up to the app to hire bike. One thing I would say is to sign up to less time and then add more if you need. If you decide to use the bike less but have signed up for longer time, you don’t get money back as you can’t pass it onto someone else to use.

Bike are not so smooth so maybe company should introduce E bike however bike availability is good

10/10 compared to the iamsterdam citycard companies which close at 5pm and require 100€ deposit AND your passport… donkeybikes only required 10€ for 24h use with 24h returns and an app which allows me to automatically lock and unlock the bike! would use again!!!

Very easy to find. Very easy to use and very easy to drop off.

Better price than Dott. Nice. Please don’t get more expensive! Although one thing I don’t like- I charged my app for 10€, I used it once and now that the remaining balance was only 7€, I couldn’t use the bike so I had to charge it again … so if I understand correctly, I will be forced to make a ride of 10€ one day.

Rigtig nem app at bruge, cyklen cykler fint og er nem at bruge. Der mangler en ringeklokke.

Easy to use, although once a problem with locking the bike (app did no register that). email send within the app an cv d a gew minutes later ot was ok. Ideal for me as I only occasionally use a bike.
