I like Donkey Republic because it’s convenient, and saves me money compared to my expenses getting my own bike fixed at the bike mechanic. There are usually a donkey bike just outside my own door, and rarely do I have to walk for more than a few minutes to find one.

Gebruik ze in Gent, altijd wel een best goede ervaring mee gehad. Maar onlangs probeerde ik €5 op mijn wallet te zetten, en vervolgens ging het van mijn rekening maar het kwam niet op mijn wallet. Dus ik belde de klantenservice en ze zeiden gewoon dat ik naar de bank moest bellen, niets anders, zonder me verder te helpen. €5 uit het raam gegooid (dit is best veel voor een broke studentje) en bovendien niet in mijn les geraakt, LEUK!

Er reed geen bus meer. Normaal moest ik 2 uur wachten. Het heeft me 2 uur bespaard

Very easy to get the bike and there are so many locations. Lock and unlock the bike was very easy and it was working very well. Highly recommended

This is genuinely a nice service. The bikes often have at least one thing wrong with them, but the state of the bikes in general has gone through some significant improvements. Too bad your free time does not get reset at midnight when you ride a bike, though. The app keeps charging me extra because of that once I decide to use the free time I was supposed to have had for the rest of that day. Contacted customer service about this. They told me to ask customer service to refund me later on, which they don’t always agree to do because they somehow don’t seem to understand. I also got a lot of “we may charge you extra for this rental” as a result of the bluetooth and GPS-signal not functioning properly. A bike I rented at an official location and dropped back off within a few seconds upon discovering it was malfunctioning cannot have been left “outside of the right location” by me. I simply wouldn’t have enough time to misplace it, especially not at a place multiple miles away. I would have hoped the folks at Donkey would be insightful enough to realize that. It’s also annoying how you can’t end the rental for a lost bike that won’t move forward because of a flat tire or some other malfunction that is not your fault.

Terrific way to hire a bike. Less expensive than a bike hire shop and more convenient.

I was really interested because of The donkey and my experience was very interesting. I would like to take donkey another time and donkey makes a great job with his spikes. This was a nice experiment.

Helt ubrugelig service. Mit arbejde ligger åbenbart uden for en 'drop off zone' - ja tak, det var derfor jeg havde brug for en cykel. Og jeg kunne ikke bruge den hjem igen, da jeg ikke kunne få adgang til cyklen. Selve cyklen var ufatteligt tung.

What a wonderful day we had with our donkey bikes . The bikes were in good condition , easy to use with the app and we left them outside our hotel A beautiful day enhanced by our bikes and to think we are helping donkeys it’s a win win situation
