The only thing that disappointed me was the couple of items they didn't have. Otherwise, everything else was just fine. Arrived well packed and safely.

There were a few items that were not available but no surprises, I think I was aware of all of them by check out time. Package arrived in great condition and quickly. I need to be a little more careful when ordering as I was sure I wanted six packs of the crisps, but that is on me. Already thinking of my next order.

I ordered a shipment from British Essentials after returning from a trip to London this summer. I received only a partial shipment—some items missing and some damaged —and no refund. I called, emailed, and messaged on Facebook trying to fix the issue and I have had no response for weeks. Do not do business with this company. They are not legitimate.

Like many expats we like a taste of home so British Essentials provide that service, sadly not always a good service. To the point where my last order will in fact be my last order. Firstly we had damage in items in carriage, no communication from the company within their own published timescale or in fact none. Packages did not have a customs declaration on them so were opened to check contents and duly charged at around £1 each so an additional £4 so far, one box did have a customs label but was so badly packed one of the spice mixes leaked out everywhere requiring re-packing and a charge of around £5, I am rounding down these charges. So i paid the equivalent of £54.89 for delivery costs this included a £23.23 European delivery surcharge, however the goods were not delivered they had to be collected each package that is taking my time and cost. So this made me look a lot closer at the prices charged by this company for their efforts and as they like so say 24/7 customer service, experts in shipping, 30 day money back guarantee. So total cost of my products order if purchased from Ocado in the UK would be £85.53 with the delivery fee of £54.89 with no customs charges to your door. Reality total charged for food etc £309.69 a massive mark up of 350% now we all have faced rising prices but sometimes people our out for clear profits. If the items arrived undamaged in good packing and fast with no problems at all it is still very high. The packaging is cheap boxes (no doubt they would lean on eco friendly boxes) packing is a waxed styled paper and sauce bottle have the luxury of some masking tape. So in summing up if you want No Customer service Poor delivery and packing Extra charges as I did 350% Total mark up on current UK prices High delivery charges If so British Essentials could well be the company for you. Prices are based on current exchange rates when writing this review

Ware am 20. Juni bezahlt und bis heute nichts zugestellt bekommen. Unter der erhalten Tracking-Nr. existieren keine Angaben zum Versand. Nun habe ich geschrieben, dass ich mein Geld zurück erstattet bekommen möchte und werde jedes Mal mit automatisch generierten Antworten vertröstet.
