Well packaged, prompt delivery

The products were great! The shipping was expensive but I expected it. Some of my items were crushed and broken. The box had a lot of empty space and I believe the can and heavier things crushed the lighter items.

Such a frustrating experience. Placed an order on 1st May which still hasn't turned up. Tried emailing customer services but all I get back is automated responses saying that there is a nationwide delay in shipping. All I want is for an actual person to look into the tracking for me and either find or resend my order.

Missing items from order. They will not email me back or answer their phone. Will be contacting credit card to despite charge. Guess I got the last laugh.

Order # BE46914 Diabolical and cannot be trusted. Despite their website assurances, my order got stuck in customs with inadequate paperwork. I contacted them and the phone was answered by the company owner who promised to rectify this within 2 working days. Nothing happened; 7 emails and two further phone calls were totally ignored. Paypal took up my case, were also totally ignored and the couriers returned my order to the UK after 20 days as they could do no more. Paypal fully refunded my money within hours of completing their review and cannot be thanked enough. As for British Essentials - a total waste of time and cannot be trusted. Failed to deliver my order, failed to communicate with me, failed to communicate with Paypal who kindly and very promptly refunded my payment. The only thing they have not failed at is to ask for positive reviews every week despite my responses !! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY ONE INCH WITH EVEN ONE CENT OF YOUR MONEY !!

I ordered four jars of marmite as it's impossible to buy it here. They arrived after a couple of weeks but two of them were smashed, with the contents leaking inside the box. I took photos and emailed them to their customer service address yesterday. So far I have not had a response. The items were bubble wrapped but loosely packed in an oversized box with only scrunched paper. I was not happy but at least I have two intact jars. Would be nice to at least get an acknowledgement that my email arrived.

Toujours sans réponse à ce jour malgré mes nombreux mails envoyé ! Attention il est possible que vous soyez facturé deux fois pour votre commande et aucun moyen d’avoir un remboursement pourtant j’avais payé via paypal !

Beyond angry and frustrated with this company! I am still waiting for my order - it's been almost 3 weeks. Paid huge courier fees and they can't be bothered to respond to my numerous emails or live chats about the status of my order/delivery! Totally ghost you. Bizarre! No customer service at all. In response to your answer below about the delay being as a result of the coronation weekend - what a joke! I emailed you numerous times long before the coronation! I already gave all the details of my order, including my order number and never received a reply despite numerous emails prior to coronation weekend! There is just NO customer service! Earlier reviews show that I’m clearly not the only one with this problem from your company. Will never be ordering again!!!

Trying to get in touch with this… Trying to get in touch with this company for over a week now to no avail not responding to my email and no telephone number to contact … huge order that they couldn’t fulfil last time now on subscription I need to cancel ! Now order has gone out and credit card charged
