Almost aince placing my (first ever) order, there has been an absolutely positively excessive stream of emails from Wooden Cork. The most annoying thing is that these innumerable emails all sought to sell me more “stuff” … before what I ordered had even arrived. And the order-to-arrival era was extremely long. I would have preferred to have been told to expect a delay instead of feeling the need to initiate my own inquiry. When I did contact them, the response was impressively quick and clear: they were out of stock on one of the items and so were holding the entire order. However, one part of the explanation for the lack of communication included the suggestion that my spam filter had grabbed the single email that would have been helpful to get (and let ALL the other sales-oriented emails through??). I expect to order again from Wooden Cork. By the time I do, I hope they will have prioritized delivery and timely proactive communication over getting another sale.

Products shipped quickly, package nicely, and superb quality overall

The TLDR version is that I’m charged $35 shipping for a bottle I never received. I ordered a bottle, received a shipping notice on Oct 17th. On Oct 29th I was asked to review an order that I never received. I looked up the tracking number and found out that it had 3 delivery attempts that I never knew about and that it was on its was back to Wooden Cork. I spoke UPS and was told it was returned within hours of the third delivery attempt AT WOODEN CORK’S REQUEST. I was never given an opportunity to pick it up at the UPS facility. I spoke with Ken in customer service, and was told that is their policy and that I should have read that on the website before ordering. I was also told that it was my fault for not having a UPS account and not being notified of attempted deliveries.

Bad experience

Excellent customer service. I needed to change the shipping address from my home to my office and the Wooden Cork made the change on a Saturday night. Very impressive.
