Worst online 3d printing service ever with constant changes in both web interface and regulations for the hubs. It's a nightmare to wake up and see a new rule is out everyday that affects all the hubs except cruelly selected 50 hubs with not a single notification email prior to the changes. 3Dhubs is a huge scamming company in 3D printing industry. Go and read the conversions on their website (if not removed by now) and Reddit to see what happend recently. It's unbelievable.

I'm an amateur CAD user and fairly new to 3D printing as a service. My background context: - In IT starting as a coder in 1983, or for 34 years in the prehistoric age - I have an assorted background in - dating back to Toaster’s, and if you don’t know what they are then you're age deficient - hardware and software for 3D imaging and animation. - I've done months of research on 3D printers and printing and have decided o use a service for now instead of buying one. I need to get better at CAD before having a 3D printer sitting idle. I am prototyping a possible product and need to do frequent prints to visually see my design to make proper adjustments. While 3D Hubs seems to be a decent business model they have some serious flaws. When submitting a file(s) for printing it is very difficult to use a provider that you want because their algorithms decide the best materials and will only list by distance or 'stars' the printing providers and not allow you to pick a provider you have chosen as a favorite. If you are new, or not, to 3D printing you develop a helpful relationship with certain vendors and if there is a way to choose them to fulfill your order I can't find it. DON'T ever trust completion or delivery dates stated when working p a new order, especially with a new vendor, because you will be misinformed by up to 7-10 days. 3D printing is mainly for prototypes and it's way cool but 3D Hubs has no way to help you bridge the gap between prototyping vs. production runs or samples. 3D Hubs has a ways to go.

Customer first, suppliers second. Don't start a hub. If you ever get in trouble with a customer, you'll be the one paying for it. Their 12.5% fee is a large cut as well for the work they deliver. Website and rules are constantly changing and before you know it you lose another customer because of it. Works reasonably OK if you need a 3D Print. Some hubs are really doing their best.

3DHubs is a platform that does very well what it is meant to do: help people who don't have acces to 3d printers (or to the 3dprinter they would like or need) to find individuals or companies able to help them bring their project to life. I, through this platform, was able to come in contact with a valuable 3dprinting partner who helped me and my team complete an engineering project in time.

This is a very useful service. Great idea having all local 3D printing services on one centralized site. I have had several items printed by local 3D print services. Not one bad experience. Highly recommend this service to anyone.

I've printed out multiple designs in PLA, Nylon, and Ninja Flex with 3D Hubs, they've all been printed out perfectly. Customer service is really helpful and fast in delivery. There's a lot of projects that I might not have successfully finished had it not been for 3D Hubs superb format in connecting you to local print hubs.

3D Hubs allows for the community to work together in order to easily find and sort through many printing outposts in your local area. Having the ability to easily compare between quick, cheap, and quality prints which each hub provides makes it easier to have a product created that favors each users interests. I have used other sites in the past, but nothing compares quite like 3D Hubs and their excellent services.

I've used 3d hubs for a few orders by now and the platform is helping me a lot getting what I need to get printed without having a printer myself. The hubs/community and the administration are very active and get back to you very fast. Quality of the support from both sides is great as far as I can tell. I'm actively revommending to friends and to the open internet :) I'm very satisfied and glad it exists.

I needed a custom holder to wear an unusual medical device for which there is nothing commercially available. I got it made quickly, at great quality for an excellent price and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. I was easily able to compare prices from local people with 3D printers and the interface of 3D Hubs was very easy to upload the design and order it.

The person I found provided excellent products and services. My feedback to 3D Hubs itself prompted a quick reply...it didn't fall off the radar.

This platform offers competitive choice and comprehensive material selection for my project needs. The individual hub operator is usually someone who will do the print for you and as such knows the tricks that will make it works (FIRST TIME). This is extremely helpful when your print takes hours to do.
