I ordered a Tetrad sofa online and the process was straightforward. Paying the balance had to done by phone before delivery of the item. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The delivery company was efficient.

My new mattress was delivered on time by two vert careful men. My stairs are steep & narrow,but they made it look easy. 10 out of10 & a gold star!

We found the perfect suite for our second lounge in stock at Taskers a few weeks ago. A customer had mis-measured his room and when the suite arrived, it was too big. Taskers put it into their showroom to resell for him. We loved it, measured it, agreed a price including delivery and it was with us 10 days later. The delivery team had been to us before. They were really careful and considerate and had it set up in no time! You will have worked out that we have bought from Taskers before. This is our fifth significant furniture purchase from them during the last 20 years or so. If you negotiate courteously, there are savings to be made (sometimes!).

Absolutely dreadful service from Taskers of Accrington. We ordered and paid in full for a rug £119 on 18th October and were told it would arrive ‘within days’. One week later I enquired about delivery and was told 11th November. Not hearing anything from Taskers on the 11th November I called again and was told that they would look into it. 5 hours later I got a call to say the rug had been dis-continued! How long would they have held our money if I hadn’t repeatedly telephoned them? This is our 2nd bad experience with Taskers, we won’t be returning s 3rd time.

Taskers of Accrington is a wonderful shop and it was a pleasure to choose shop there. We actually choice our suite during the difficult Covid period and we knew that the manufacturing time would be extended. Unfortunately, the material we chose for the 3 seater and ottoman proved very unsatisfactory in use. Taskers were superb throughout and eventually, without prompting, Linzi agreed with Alstons, the manufacturers, that the items would be replaced. We reordered in a different material and this week took delivery. We are absolutely delighted, not only with the replacement items but also with the excellent service we received for which we thank you most sincerely. If you need new furniture, you do not need to look further than Taskers of Accrington.

We discovered Taskers a few years ago after they were recommended to us. We weren't disappointed. We have returned time after time due the the excellent personal service and support from sales person Carol. Nothing is too much trouble. She gives you space if you need to talk through your potential purchase but is on hand to share information about the furniture. If she doesn't know something she will find out. In a time where the personal touch of local businesses is becoming more rare, we really appreciate how looked after we are at taskers. They furniture is of a high quality too. We would highly recommend

I ordered the tetrad sofa in linen mushroom. Ready in about 14-15 weeks. Beautiful sofa and £500 cheaper than had seen it else. Delivery guys really nice and helpful and friendly.

So sad that the carpet that we had fitted, hasn't lasted 12months . When we spoke to Taskers, they sent this information to the carpet makers, Cavalier Carpets in Blackburn. An assessor visited and Cavalier later sent an analysis in which their verdict was that we had used the wrong type of vacuum cleaner, so the damage to the carpet was down to our incorrect maintenance. No particular type of vacuum cleaner is mentioned in the carpet's care instructions and this was a transparent fob-off. We emailed Taskers to let them know how we felt about the manufacturer's response. Taskers have recently contacted us to apologise for slight delay in response as they have been in dialogue with the manufacturer, and have offered us a credit note for the full price of the carpet. We will be more than happy to choose a different carpet from Taskers, whose consideration, professionalism and customer service have been exemplary in this matter.

First order of chair very good, so good in fact that I ordered a second chair. This is where a star is knocked off. I was told it was in stock my money was taken order confirmed. Only to be told at a later date that actually it wasn't in stock and it wasn't possible to order me one so returned my money. Very disappointed I was given wrong information.

We have furnished our entire new home with Taskers & aren’t ready to quite finish yet. Ivar and the team are so helpful & couldn’t do enough for us. Absolutely love the store I could spend hours in there. Delivery is great too! Thanks so much guys Megan & Michael x

Friendly efficient service

This was our first visit to Taskers and we were really impressed with how large the showroom is and how many items were on show. We were looking for one particular type and brand of chair, however, we ended up leaving with a chair/footstool, a light and a candle, saving over £600 as the seat was in the sale. Our salesman was very helpful and didn't try to pressurise us into buying anything, a different experience to other retailers. We will be back again when we are next looking for furniture.

On delivery , they knocked a large photo frame off the wall that smashed the glass and never offered to clean up
