Ordered some expanding willow trellis from GreatGardensOnline after my research showed them as offering the product I wanted at best price. Delivery was free, which considering I live in Cornwall and they are based in Derby, I was amazed at and very prompt. I fully expected to wait for several days but my order was with me in 48 hours. Well done to them for a brilliant website, ease of ordering, great service and speedy delivery.

Despite being unfortunate in receiving a faulty product from the manufacturers I really cannot fault GreatGardensOnline for their service and handling of the situation throughout and exasperation was kept to a minimum by the friendliness of their staff. The matter has now been amicably resolved and I have no reservations about ordering from them again. A company that deals well with problems is rare these days!

Ordered a wheelbarrow 12 days ago, did not receive notification of dispatch so had no idea when to expect the delivery. When it did arrive after 2 working days (luckily someone was in, I wasn't!), it was the wrong model. Did not respond to my email enquiry for 4 days because had tried to call me and my mobile was switched off - here's a clue, if somebody emails you, they generally expect an email response unless otherwise stated. Eventually the correct item was delivered at 6pm yesterday and the wrong one taken away FOC. Lot of hassle though so quite disappointing overall.

Good bargain and pretty quick delivery, but only 4 stars because of the delivery method and terms - read the small print! I'm not even sure it's legal having paid for the items up front. They should definitely use a different courier rather than send an order confirmation along with a threat of extra charges if you're not in when the courier arrives, especially when leaving instructions to leave with neighbours etc for 'just in case'. Other couriers don't do this and starting the relationship with Greatgardensonline with a threat is unfortunate to say the least. Change the courier and 5 stars no problem.

I had to pay for carriage to to Orkney from a local delivery firm, but nil to have it delivered to Cumbernauld in Central Scotland. If you live in a beautiful part of Scotland it's something you have to put up with. The swing seat was delivered beautifully packaged in corrugated cardboard and bubble wrap. I had the seat put together and swinging in a little over an hour with some help from a neighbour. It should be no problem for most folk to put together with even limited DIY capabilities. A power tool to drive in a few screw nails and a set of spanners to tighten nuts onto the bolts is all that's required. A few blind alleys regarding screw lenghts were quickly overcome. The seat itself is well made and very comfortable with the addition of a bench seat pad & two large cushions. Three coats of Timbercare and the seat is ready for what an Orkney winter can throw at it. I would recommend a wire brushing and a fresh coat of preservative every Spring. I'm delighted with the buy and would happily recommend GGO to anyone.

Ordering and delivery first class service. Email received stating date of delivery was a nice touch. However, when it came to assembly of the bird table it was found that the table and support post bolt holes did not match. This was soon remedied using a power drill and extra long drill bit. Not ideal for someone with no DIY skills. Also for the price, I would prefer to see the use of wood screws as opposed to staples on the table instead. C. Hearn, Exeter

The garden trolley I purchased steers really well, has good tyres and was easy to put together. However some of the fastenings that fix the sides to the base are rather loose and I am afraid they will get lost over time.

Item's were delivered very quickly, order arrived within two days, very well packaged and in tip top condition, didn't receive a delivery email but not really bothered about this. Would definitely recommend Great Gardens Online to anyone and will for sure be ordering from them again myself.
