We needed a safe option for our son regarding phones. I did heavy research and Pinwheel seemed to be the best option for our family. It is great! I would recommend for all children. Honestly, kids do not need a $1000 iPhone and access to the worldwide web. Get your kids a Pinwheel phone so you can rest at night.

I can’t even describe how impressed I am with Pinwheel as a whole, but especially their customer support. My situation as ALWAYS been resolved timely, each person has been knowledgeable and very polite. That was no exception today, Chen helped me and made the entire process quick and easy. The pinwheel UI has continued to improve since day one, and they truly seem like a company that cares. I will continue to recommend to anyone looking for a smart “dummy” phone to help keeps their kids safe while still being relevant amongst their peers. It’s the perfect compromise for any aged kid.

Yeah! Able to by-pass the accidental factory reset courtesy of son's backpack. With patience and great instruction of each step I was able to reload the pinwheel app, update the phone and get it back into my son's hands! Previously the phone had to be returned to Pinwheel. This is a huge improvement!

I was having problems activating the SIM on my son's phone. Chen B. helped me through it. It might have taken a lot longer than I hoped for, but Chen was very thorough and exhausted all the possible solutions. In the end, the problem was solved, and now the phone works. Thanks!!!

So so many issues.Time changes randomly to wrong zone. Always something wrong with the phone. No GPS tracking. Paying for Bark but it doesn't work. Life360 doesn't work. A yr with no resolution or improvement. Tech support finally said it's just this type phone that doesn't work. It's the phone they sell! Why would you continue selling a phone that didn't work? They offer no replacement or compensation.
