United States | 26 October 2024I ordered the product on the 14 day trial, and was quoted that I would pay $60 (approximately) if I did not cancel before the 14 days. I was a day late to cancel, and when I called customer service, they charged me $81 over the phone, which supposedly was to pay for the gifts that were "free" if you continued receiving the products, but since I was cancelling, I had to pay for them. Then, when I checked my credit card, they had also charged $42 for a recurring payment. When I called the company back, they said they could not take off the $42 and I would have to take it up with my bank. I told them that customer service had assured me that the $81 would take care of everything, and they would send me an email indicating that. I did not receive an email until after my second call to customer service, but the email said nothing about the additional charge. Bottom line is this is just another scam company wanting to scam customers out of money. The product is decent but the customer service is horrible.

United States | 25 October 2024…Just wanting to warn others that the 14 day trial and only having to pay a small tax & shipping fee upfront then being charged for the full product later if you decide to keep is false advertising. They charge for the full product upfront. What’s sketchy is my email confirmation stated I only owed and was charged the $6.38 fee. Then I looked at my bank statement and it charged me for the full product as well. I called and spoke with their customer service and they explained to me it was a hold on my account but a “hold” should not be a withdrawal and I should have access to the funds but it was a complete withdrawal from my account balance. There was also nothing explained or highlighted on my confirmation email there would be a hold of any sort. I had paid $6.38 I was not told about a 14 day trial. I thought when the $6.38 was paid that was it. I ordered the wrong color foundation and called, the representative did help me get the correct color I needed. The make up is beautiful, I think customers should be given the full details on trial period when ordering. I am not please with $94.18 coming out of my account when I had already paid.

United States | 24 October 2024ordering and receiving the product was easy. It has been difficult to follow up to get a lighter shade bc the one I ordered didn't match. I wish there was a follow up email on the trial order for adjustments or changes.

United States | 24 October 2024I don't typically wear makeup as I found it to look and feel heavy. As I have gotten older, my face has uneven tones. I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I love how light it feels and evens my skin tones. I have tried many products over the years but this is the best by far. I would highly recommend Luminess.

United States | 23 October 2024I placed my order on Oct 1st & supposedly they were out of one item I had ordered so instead of reaching out to inform me, they just put my order on Hold for over a week. Then I FINALLY get a notification that my order had shipped out, but low & behold, it was all BS because my order didn’t actually get shipped out until October 11th but I didn’t actually receive my order until October 20th!! Even though I reached out to customer service NUMEROUS times about my order, you would think that they would have put it through overnight shipping or something but No. customer service is not their strong point. No, instead I had to wait an additional 9 days to receive my order just to apply it to my face and see an Oompa Loompa staring back at me. Definitely NOT worth the hype or the hassle

I was placing my order for the new Airbrush sprayer and noted that it says I never ordered anything from LUMINESS and now wants me to order a “14 day trial free.” PLEASE CORRECT THIS as I had to also create a new account.

United States | 19 October 2024I thought I was just ordering the airbrush starter kit - Try Before you Buy for 14 days. $39.00. So they charged me shipping up front for $6.30 with a charge of $52.31 pending. That didn't add up, so when I looked at my total order at Luminess, the balance was $86.30. There were items added to my cart I didn't even know about or want. After speaking to someone at Luminess I was told it was too late to change my order since it had already gone to shipping, but I could return any unwanted items. What I don't appreciate is that my card will be charged for items I didn't ask for and will then have to go thru the hassle to return stuff and get a refund. Why can't they just offer good cutsomer service up front and win back repeat customers instead of trying to rip people off? Don't try to add items to my cart hoping I might miss deleting them. How deceptive.
