Ordered a set of personalised banners and balloons for a birthday party over a month before they were needed. Two days before before delivery I had an email saying their online shop had lost the personalisation. They then went silent. No reply from my email or two answer machine messages (as they didn't answer the phone on multiple occasions). Party has been and gone with no balloons or banners and no reply to my request for a refund. Shocking service

Ordered a cake for my mums 80th birthday. Arrived on time however the image wasn’t even straight, very noticeable. There was also black ink spots all over the happy birthday part. Emailed and still no response

I ordered 3 sets of bubble balloons for a 40th party and upon arrival, one of the sets were damaged - deflated and unusable. I immediately took photos, emailed customer services and as they were unable to get me a replacement for the next day for the parry, confirmed a full refund for the damaged item. That was on 8th January 2024. Since then I've had to call numerous times to chase up the refund. A week after confirming the refund, no money back or emails etc. They confirmed on the phone it would be sorted and would email me to confirm. No email or reply received, I chased again a week later and they said it has been processed but can take up to 10 days. 10 days later, still no refund so chased and customer services has said its been processed but they don't know why its taking so long but it could be my bank. Its not my bank as I've had refunds through over the last few days. They're not exactly cheap party products so considering the immediate flag for a damaged unusable piece, i don't expect to still be chasing a refund almost a month later!!

Not impressed. Ordered and emailed with a simple request regarding colouring of lettering. Response back to say all in hand, balloon arrived with wrong colour lettering on it despite request confirmed. Emailed but no response.

Very disappointed. I brought an 80th personalised balloon for my dad. When it arrived the star and 8 were already half deflated and looked terrible. I couldn't use them - what a complete waste of money and I was left with no balloon on what should have been a special day. I have contacted them twice for a response and refund and they just ignore me.

I ordered a personalised birthday cake for my friends surprise party. I ordered it on the 5th January and paid extra to have it delivered on the 16th January. I booked leave so I would be at home to receive it. When it hadn’t arrived by 3pm I sent an email to party pieces but did not receive a reply. I sent a second stil no reply. I telephoned them and was told I was second in line and had a wait time of 7 mins . This went down to 1 min then escalated back up to 7 mins. They closed at 4. This morning I’m currently 1 st in line but have her waiting for 21 mins. My order status says unfulfilled but no one has contacted me and they are impossible to get hold of. This is absolutely disgusting customer service. I would definitely not use this company to purchase anything and I will now have to try and buy a cake before tonight’s party . I paid in full for the cake 12 days ago and I am now trying to get through to them for a refund . I do not recommend this company and when I tell all the guests tonight what has happened I’m quite sure that they will all leaving negative reviews too

Do not purchase any goods from these people you will not get your order! I have just spent two days waiting for over 30 mins and more, to get through on the phone, after sending three customer enquiry emails, that never got answered. To find out and be told its my fault for not answering an email from them, to confirm a date of delivery (goods was order 28th Dec). Which I have never received and I also requested the date of delivery on their website when ordering! I paid next day delivery (bit of a clue there) I have now been told that l can't have a refund! Only a credit note to buy something else, well first of all we'll see if l get the email! And then we will see if we get any orders delivered. I am not holding my breath! Please order from else where, they will only ruin your party, and take your money.

There was a missing item in my delivery and I’ve contacted Party Pieces quite a few times to try and discuss a refund or replacement but no response. In the last 5 days, I’ve sent 2 emails and 2 messages via their online form. I’ve called them and been on hold for 20 minutes, says I’m the first in the queue but everytime I call, it’s the same message. Very poor.

Please do not order from here. I ordered balloons, I never received them. I was on hold to their customer service and was number one in line for over 15 minutes and never spoke to anyone. The only information I got was order confirmation but never a dispatch email or response to locating my items.

Bought 2 balloons for a 30th and when they came the zero and the star balloon had lost air so look very deflated! Only the three was ok and the other balloon was ok. They just about lasted one day for nearly £65 very disappointing!

The service has gone downhill since the take over. The cakes are getting much much smaller ( the current size is almost 1/2 of what they used to be) and they are still charging £30 for what were used to be sold as 'large cake'. Plus they are charging £6.95 as if it was for a next day delivery even if you had ordered the cake 10 days before the due date. Again, totally a rip off. In the past, if we wanted the cake for a Saturday, I would ordered it on a Monday, it is posted via Royal Mail on Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on the arrival of the freshly baked Cake every week (Monday most times), and it is with us maximum on Thursday or Friday. The current quality of the received cake is extremely low even the colours used to print the photos on the cake are very artificial and harsh, low quality and are not encouraging to be consumed. I simply cannot offer such a low quality ingredients to children. I wish I had read the reviews in here about the most recent quality of the cakes. I had trusted the previous quality which we never has issues with over the years and I didn't know that they had changed baker simply because the photos on the website remain from the previous baker which is totally misleading and dishonest. I only knew about the change of baker when I wrote to them about the size of the cake and its dreadful appearance. The cake is simply fit for the bin. Never again!

AWFUL. I ordered a personalised cake which looked ok but honestly tasted vile and was really dry and stale. I reported back to the company, they asked a couple of questions and then ghosted me. Dreadful !!!!

Ultimately my balloons were never delivered and nobody from Larty Pieces called me to ask what happened (although I had conrta yes Customer Services). Using DPD, who are hopeless, is a recipe for disappointment. I have vowed to move my custom to similar providers to Party Pieces who use their own vans/ drivers and can deal efficiently with delivery.

Cut my cake today, very disappointed. It was like a hard Madeira cake with a slither of cream in it . So disappointed as it was for my wife's 70th Birthday. Will definitely not order again , a waste of £37 .

Cake wasn’t great so a little disappointed. It was pretty dry and heavy for a sponge - suppose to be expected as it comes in the post and we had to get Friday delivery for a weekend party. Printed personalisation had some ink marks on it and didn’t look too great either.

Cake was delivered on the date requested. Previously ordered from Party Pieces 2022 - outstanding. This year cake was much smaller and tasted not so good. Rather disappointed. Wasn't cheap - £36.00

Sadly I cannot review positively due to a shortage in an order and then when I tried to call the queue on the phone just got longer the more I held on so had to hang up! I’m still wondering why the invoice stated all the goods were packed when they clearly weren’t - and now my daughter who is 25 today will have a balloon that says she’s 2 years old !!! I used to use this company as my “go-to” for all party goods but will now have to look elsewhere!
