Did not help. None of the UC’s accepted my daughter even she had high GPA.

Total 3 counselors were assigned. Second one left just 2 months before the application process and wasted most of the time. The last one was good and helped with the essay writing / application process. Also internship stuff was not good. It eventually didn’t happen and was wastage of time.

Excellent!! Wouldn’t have gotten into my dream school without empowerly’s help!!!

Good: essay review process. Bad: little communication with parents, I felt totally out of the loop. Missed some key application pieces Maybe my expectations were out of whack, but I was hoping empowerly was going to suggest schools we had not considered. Didn’t happen. I also found out after the fact that my daughter didn’t apply to a the pre med program at a school and I feel like that should have been caught. The program required an essay so it wasn’t the matter of clicking a button. Although she was admitted the overall school, she won’t be going bc of that error. My daughters advisor was very engaged in the beginning but then it was hard to get ahold of- cancelled calls, didn’t return calls/texts, etc. At the end of the day my daughter got into plenty of schools, but I’m pretty sure she could have gotten into them without the entire empowerly process and just an essay editor.
