The lock is sturdy, heavy and I assume grind proof - however, it is a bit small - an extra inch of room would really help - I find it very difficult to lock both the bike and something study - needs to be longer.

The D1000 just gives you confidence picking it up! SO solid and well thought out. Been using it on my ebike, and apart from being a touch too short on a couple of occasions, it gives me real peace of mind to know it is there protecting my bike.

Still have not received $300 bike lock. Tracking info? Really didn't like waiting over a month, bought a different lock already.

I haven't received the product yet, no stars would be better. I've been waiting for more than a month, maybe it's on the porch.

Good product, key works smooth, happy to see 3 keys, concerned that key number is printed on key - guess I'll have to grind that off - somebody sees your keys and then orders a replacement in your name - not good. Need a longer version of the cut resistant - won't fit a scooter. No shipping updates until requested and frustrated with extremely slow shipping and tracking number was not correct.

It took nearly two months to deliver my product. Who can be happy with that.

Shipping package was too small for lock sent. No padding or protection. Package arrived torn and opened.

So I bought the rather expensive Hiplock D1000 because I bought an ebike and I didn’t fancy losing it too quickly. Gosh it’s heavy but very solid and chunky looking. It’s also not as long as I would have liked which limits what size post you can lock it up. Actually I use 2 D Locks the other is alarmed. Ultimately you can’t stop a tea leaf if they really wanna nick your bike but at least you can hopefully make them work hard for it. Thankfully it’s not been put to the test. Anyway, enough digress, delivery took about 3 weeks. However they responded quickly to my enquiries and it was delivered when they said it would.

Lock is very nice. Delivery took a littlebid longer as I thought. But all in all a good decision.

Very good product. Recommended.

I feel more confidence in having these locks, D1000 & Litelok X1, along for the ride. Just making sure I keep them visible if used. Which we all know what that means, however, a thief will test this challenge.

I had two reasons to need help from Hiplok customer service recently. In one case I messed up an address on a product registration. In another I messed up an order for a lock. In both cases Hiplok got back to me within 24 hours and fixed my mistakes. Great products and great customer service is a great combo.
