The staff are friendly, helpful and professional, my dog looked beautiful, exactly what I asked for and offered some good advice.

The team I dealt with were very progressive and accommodating. My border collie is very nervous with new people but they made him feel welcome. My only small criticism was I would of liked his fur to be cut a little shorter, however he still looked very good when I collected him

WARNING! Cannot warn customers enough of how bad this place is!!!! Not too sure what has happened but used to be friendly and professional however, in the last year it has changed...for the worse. Poor attitude from the manager and my dogs treated terribly! My dog came out like a sheered sheep rather than a cockerpoo!! I refused to sign contract as wasn't happy with her response, the additional charges or the quality of the service at all and she then refused to hand the dogs over if I didn't sign - terrorising my dogs in the process. I have complained to HO but just totally ignored. Everyone warned me not to take my dogs there - I didn't listen but I found out the hard way - they offer a terrible service. Interestingly, I work for a large organisation in Telford and the word is getting around to avoid this place at all costs.

Staff very polite nothing is a problem what a beautiful cut just as I wanted he has only ever had three cuts before and they were all different I had heard good reports from the groom room that’s where my next cut for Finn will be I live six miles away but well worth it

Sophie & Tasha groomed my dog Rosie & was very good with her. She is a Romanian rescue and can be a bit temperamental with other dogs and people she doesn’t know. They were golden with her & she had no issues which is great. She looked beautiful and smelled amazing!

Greeted by a friendly member of staff who immediately introduced herself to my dog and made a fuss of him so that he was comfortable to be left. His groom was finished early and so I was informed by telephone. He looks so smart and I am delighted with the service.

My dog loves coming to the groom room all the staff are really friendly and she loves them all, the only thing I think isn’t great is I pay the same amount for a full groom as someone who was having there dog completely shaved and having a golden retriever my dog only needs a few small parts cutting with scissors which takes much less time than a complete shave so don’t think it should be the same amount.. I also had a discount voucher but once the new app was updated my voucher was lost so they couldn’t add my discount on…

Average groom. Did not dry him off completely and does not smell that great. Have been to an independent groomers and he always smells so fresh after that groom. Pets at home is more expensive than independent groomers and staff seem less experienced!!

Looked after my dog made her feel so welcome and not a scary experience at all. When i came to collect her she looked absolutely gorgeous. Such a professional attitude from everyone involved in the grooming process

I booked a month in advance and did stipulate that my dog doesn’t get along with others and was under the impression that some adjustments could be made to accommodate. I wrote back to confirm when I received the reminder and then was cancelled on, on the day one hour before my appointment. I have to get a bus and was on the bus already. This was deeply upsetting and I do feel this could have been discussed earlier or cancelled earlier than on the day. It’s deeply upsetting when you have to make a lot of arrangement's for one appointment only to have it cancelled. I understand health and safety and of course I don’t want to put other dogs at risk, but still my dog really needed a groom and I wanted to treat her to something nice. Overall she is a very pleasant dog to be around and I just felt heartbroken my 11 year old pooch wasn’t allowed to have a little pamper even though I’d put preferences down well in advance. When it says adjustments can be made it would be nice if perhaps these notes were acknowledged beforehand rather than being cancelled on on the day. Advice moving forward be sure to ring the groom room and discuss and do not just trust that an online booking is going to be acknowledged fully. I have been very disheartened and will never attempt to use a groom room again.

My review is for the Bar Hill Groom room in Pets at Home Cambridge. If I could have given zero stars I would have done. I booked by phone about two days before my appointment. I was told that a confirmation message was to be sent by WhatsApp. On the day I check to confirm the time only to be told it had been cancelled due to not paying the £15 deposit. I was not told about this on the phone. Apparently this is a new system that had just started. I said this is really poor customer service, but really got the attitude that they couldn't be bothered, no apologies. The 10am appointment was still available. I was asked 'so do you still want the appoinment or not'. So no more Groom Room Bar Hill for me.

Gemma cuts my dog , Cora , every visit . She is excellent. To the extent that Cora came 3rd in a dog show !!
