Hearing loss for musicians/music lovers isn't great. So, dealing with the excellent Fiona Butterworth, who understands the issues, listens to what you're saying, and then uses her audiology superpowers to give you the best day-to-day experience possible is a ray of sunshine. These are good people. Worth every penny.

Harley Street Hearing's stylish second office at 127 Harley Street enabled me to hear again within minutes after my arrival. The telephone receptionist was professional and found a convenient appointment in less than two hours from my telephone call. A lift whisked me to the newly appointed third floor. Romy Cohen, a friendly, professional audiologist, heard how my hearing suddenly became blocked. She explained the methods to remove the blockages, and gave reassurance they are not painful. Romy was correct and the first method she used, suction, was rapid and effective. Following the relief of unblocked ears, a technical device was used to check if the eardrums responded to sound correctly to indicate if there was no fluid behind the ears. Romy's advice to use a spray-on ear oil once per week in the future sounds ideal. I thoroughly recommend Harley Street Hearing, established for over 25 years, and Romy Cohen.

The moment I walked through the red door it was already a welcoming atmosphere, the fancy elevator trip to the top floor when it was my turn to be greeted by my audiologist who made my appointment a comfortable experience throughout. I would strongly recommend any musician whether you had hearing issues or just to be extra protective with your hearing to book an appointment with the Musicians Hearing Service, they strongly reassure you that there is no shame to go see them. I would certainly be coming back for checkups in the future!
